I am trying to finalize our plans our adult only trip at the end of October. We are there for 5 nights and have park hopper. We arrive at MCO at 415 and are taking ME to Beach Club so I think we should be checked in by 630ish. We had originally planned to pop over to Epcot for some F&W snacks and to see the 8pm concert and call it a night. But now I see that Epcot closes at 9 and MK has EMH until 1am. I am now thinking it might be worth wild to leave Epcot after the concert and head to MK until 1am close(really would love to see the "kiss goodnight". We have a relaxing day planned for the following day b/t the Resort and Epcot so no rope drop planned the next morning. Our previous trips have been with kids so staying for evening EMH hasn't really been an option. Is MK during EMH a different experience that is worth our time??

We'll be there at the same time as you are. ;)

There is nothing different about the EMH's at MK, but it is a lot of fun to go there without the kids :) It will be decorated for Halloween.

You may or may not see the "Kiss Goodnight."
Sometimes its not "played" that late. If it did run, it would likely not be until 1:30AM.
(It's not really such a major thing to experience, anyway.)

But, being in MK (and riding attractions) until 1am can be a blast, as between 11pm and 1am the crowds will really fall off.

thanks everyone...I am super excited about the prospect of doing this...This actually may work out even better for our plans then expected as we were going to do a late night at Mk later in our trip, but had an early morning planned at HS the morning after so DH wasn't very happy with that. If we don't do MK evening Sat, we may be able to switch that to AK(which we were planning on skipping this trip).

Now to make sure DH is up for the task...

I agree, Magic Kingdom is the most magical at night! Waiting in line for Big Thunder Mountain railroad and seeing Cinderella Castle all lit up
Do it! I totally would if it were me! :thumbsup2 I think that MK is at it's most magical late at night!

TOTALLY AGREE!

I agree, Magic Kingdom is the most magical at night! It’s not too crowded (during a week day) so the lines aren't too bad! Cinderella Castle is all lit up, lights are twinkling, oh gosh I get teary-eyed just thinking about it!
