epcot to MGM

Can someone tell me what the time from Epcot to MGM will be? and what is the best way to get there? We have 4:30 ADR at Mama Melroses but will be spending the day at Epcot. whats the best way to get there and how long?

You can catch the boat at the international gateway (back gate of epcot). It will take you by the Broadwalk, BC/YC and then swan/dolphin. Personally I have a fear of being late so I always over estimate time but I would give myself 45 minutes. It will probably take 30 minutes but like I said I like to have plenty of time to get to my ADRs.

Don't forget to add plenty of time for the walks within both parks. Try to wrap up your day at EPCOT near the international gateway and allow enough time at the Studios, too, as MM is in the back.

Yes, it'll take you to the front of the park so you'll have to stand in line again to get your bag searched and through the gate, then trek through the park.

I'd give myself plenty of time - an hour or so - knowing you can wander the shops at MGM once you get there if you're early.

Depending where you are in Epcot, there is also a direct bus to DHS, leaving from the front of the park where all the other Disney buses are.

Don't forget, if you take the boat, you will have to switch boats at one of the resort stops.

You can also walk. You would still go out the international gateway to the edge of the BC, turn left over the bridge toward ESPN Club, in front of BW, then on to MGM from there. If you are up for the walk, that may be a very scenic way to go. Give yourself time though. I would say it's atleast 20 minutes from the IG to the front of MGM.

You do not need to switch boats. The route is Epcot>BW/BWV/Y&BC/BCV>S/D>DHS

The boat ride is about half an hour once it arrives. Including waiting time, security, admission and walking to the restaurant, I'd allow a minimum of an hour from the time you reach the IG.

Or take the bus as mentioned. Buses run every 20 minutes. I'd still allow an hour from the time you leave FW.

Ditto. I would think a minimum of 1 hour would be adequate. Best case, hopping right on a boat outside of IG, it's a solid 30-35 minutes of boat time, then add security and walk time into DHS.
