What is the quickest way to get from Epcot to DHS? I am thinking of having dinner either at Teppan Edo or Garden Grill, then going to DHS for late EMH.

You can walk it from the International Gateway to DHS in about 20 minutes.

I would take the boats that leave from the International Gate at Epcot to the studios. It is about a 25 minute trip as the boats stop at the Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Club and Swan and Dolphin hotels first.

You can also walk but I think it is about a 2 mile walk.

You can walk or take the boat. We usually walk it is usually quicker than the boat as it has to make stops along the way.

^^^ Exactly what I was gonna post. But if you want to relax and let your food settle for a few minutes, the boat ride from the International Gateway to DHS can be nice too. It takes about 10-15 minutes longer than the walk but it's pretty cool if you've never done it.

As the PPs have said, you have two choices:

1. Walk (exit via IG and follow the path to the BW and then onto DHS). It's 1.27 miles from IG to DHS. So depending on how fast you walk, this might be quicker or slower.

2. Boat. The boat goes from Epcot to BW to YC/BC to S/D to DHS. The ride is between 25 to 30 minutes depending loading times. If you get there just as the boat is leaving, you might make the trip in about the same time. If you just miss the boat, then you may have wait up to 20 minutes for the next boat to arrive, load and depart.

To the OP if you walk here is a tip that will save you at least 5 minutes. When you get to the Boardwalk go past their Luna Park pool area, because it leads out to the Hollywood Studios walkway. This way you don't need to walk all the way down along the Boardwalk.

For me it depends on how much walking I have done at Epcot. Epcot is the toughest of the parks on your feet, I think. The boat ride is pleasant, and I feel recharged after it (and my feet are grateful). If you only went for dinner at Epcot and like an after dinner constitutional, then that walk might be just the thing.
@ CR Resort Fan 4 Life - thanks for the tip!

Robo=how does that purple path work? Do you actually walk thru the lobby of the Boardwalk?

Nope, that's the 'shortcut' spoken of earlier. As you walk along the actual boardwalk, you will come to the boat dock, on the right, and the bike rentals on the left. Behind the bike rentals is the Village Green. Walk past the bike rentals, take an immediate left...Green will be on your left..you will pass Wyland Galleries on the right. Take a right..you will go through a 'tunnel like' passageway, leading to Luna Park. Stay over to the left of the pool/slide. You will exit onto the pathway to DHS...doing that cuts off walking to the end of the boardwalk, then backtracking past the rear of BWV...and to the exact same place the shortcut drops you.

I've Taken The Back Exit/Entrance At Epcot..Walked All The Way To Hollywood On The Walkway ...I've Taken The Boat Ride Also From Epcot To Hollywood-(much faster) I've Gone To A Resort Like The Dolphin Or Swan Hotel And Picked Up A Free Bus To Hollywood Too ! Each Was Fun...Have A Great Time ! :cool1::cool2::cool1:

All good ways to go. My vote is for the boat as you will give your feet a break. Also if it is sunny and boiling hot there will be no where to get out of the sun!:scared1:

If you're closer to the front entrance of Epcot you can walk over to the bus stops and take the bus to DHS.
