I know that I will take the monorail from Epcot to the CR, but does it stop at the TTC first and do I have to switch there or is there a direct monorail? Also how much time should I allow. We had an ADR at Chef Mickey' s at 7:10.

Thanks for your help

The monorail from Epcot only goes to the TTC...From there you have to get off and get onto the Resort monorail in order to get back to the Contemporary.

Yes, the Monorail only goes to the TTC. After you exit, you go to the REsorts monorail which will then take you to the CR. I would allow a little extra time to get to your ADR, so if you catch the Epcot monorail at about 6:15 or 6:30, you should be fine. You also will have a chance to relax a little instead of pushing because you don't want to be late. Enjoy!

To take the monorail from EPCOT to the Contemporary, you'll have to go from EPCOT to the TTC and then transfer to the resort monorail. The resort monorail will go from the TTC to the Contemporary with stops in between at the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom and then the Contemporary. I'd figure an hour at least. It just depends on how long you have to wait to catch the monorail at EPCOT and the TTC.

Depending on where you are in Epcot when you need to leave for the Contemporary, you may want to consider exiting Epcot through the International Gateway, walking to the Beach Club and taking a bus from the Beach Club to Magic Kingdom and then either walk from there to the Contemporary or take the resort monorail from Magic Kingdom straight to the Contemporary. :)

Why not take the shuttle directly from EPCOT to CR if you're going this route? I realize it's not that magical, but the time would be alot shorter and you can always return using the monorail.

If, however, you do want to take the monorails, allow at least 45 min's as the other posters have said.

Thanks! I didn't even think about taking the CR bus from Epcot. That makes more sense.

There is no bus between CR and Epcot.

yes, there is. Was just there 3 weeks ago.
Thanks for the information. That is great news.In all of my trips to WDW,there has never been bus service from Epcot to the Contemporary-it has always been monorail only. This must be a new service Disney has started to give guests more options. Is there also now bus service between Epcot and the Polynesian and between Epcot and the Grand Floridian or is it just for the Contemporary? Thanks. :)
