Epcot to AK at night

So I'm unexpectedly going to be in Orlando next week and plan on spending a day at Disney. Since I had a more extensive trip in January, I thought this would be a good time to try to do all 4 parks in one day. I plan on doing AK earlier in the day, but I would really like to be there at night as it's one of my favorite things and I missed out on it last trip. AK closes at 10 the day I plan on going, but I would like to see Illuminations which is at 9. Is it possible to watch Illuminations from right near the IG and catch a bus over to AK by 10 (or any other strategies)? Or am I just crazy for thinking this can be done.

I really don't see this as feasible. Illuminations last 15 or 20 minutes, then there will be a mad rush to leave so the crowds getting to the buses will be terrible. Also, I'm not sure, but I don't think they will have a bus running to AK this close to closing. Even being by IG you might try going to BC or BW to catch a bus, but there will still be at least a 10 minute walk to those bus stops. The stars would have to line up just right for there to be a bus waiting there going to AK and you would still have a 20 minute ride to AK. Ultimately, if everything worked out perfectly, you MIGHT make it to AK about 5 or 10 minutes before closing, but I really don't see it happening.

What the OP is describing is a 5 park day, those will come with hard choices & a massive forfeit of 'want tos.' Pick which 'want' you want the most and stay focused. Is it getting to 5 parks in one day or is it seeing Illuminations? Once you pick, you'll be able to make it happen. You mentioned 4 parks, you should be able to do that & end in EP, or you can pick 'evening in AK' and end there.
