Epcot Swap- Closed and Active

I have it all!

I have been having a productive day! I have everything cut for this swap. I've been trying to get things to the assembly stage so that I can bring it with me to complete at the pool and at the kids' swim practices. So far it has been working out really well!

That's a great idea, Susan! Then you have built in time to work on the projects. I usually try to cut out a bunch of things at once & have little bags to work on. In fact, I need to put some together soon.

I picked up some embellishments for my countries while I was at the store the other day. I need to jot down my ideas before I forget them.

Have a great day! I'm heading out to a graduation party later & to the beach tomorrow.

I was wondering what color scheme people were thinking for the 2" letters for "World Showcase", "Future World" and "Epcot". Are we going Olympic colors like the photo mats or in a different direction? Thanks!

That's a good question about the 2" letter groups. I think I remember seeing some talk about different countries for World Showcase. EPCOT might be good in the Olympic colors.

My future world letter and extra goodie are silver and black.

My WSC letter and extra goodie are white, black and mirror board(silver)

My plan for WS letters is to do country-themed, FW shimmery (futuristic feeling) and EPCOT I was going to do blue and silver and purple...although I can possibly adjust my sketch to other colors.

This is what I was planning too but, for EPCOT I was planning silver or purple and blue sky with clouds for the shadow. Future World I was thinkin rainbow colors or olympic colors. I'm open to suggestions.

If everyone is doing something similar in Epcot... I'll go w/ silver and either blue/purple background... I had already planned on silver but not sure of other coloring....

As for WS... I was going country colors... I have L was going to utilize the Italy theme... either masks or gondola.... leaning more towards mask because my gondola stinks! C I was going w/ a canadian feel.

I'm good with whatever everyone wants on Epcot and Future World--I hadn't really planned! But for World Showcase, I have the W & A. I was going to use an "Earth" for the W and then do the "A" with a sort of American Adv theme. Would that be ok?

I have the O and cut an Earth...but there are more than 11 letters so some countries would be duplicted. So, we could do more than one Earth!!

I ordered all the paper, etc for my groups today. Thanks to whoever recommended scrap your trip, they had everything I needed! In fact they had spaceship earth paper MDD is sitting here hand piecing Figment for her "Imagination" group. They are soooo cute

He took forever! I started with the black and white and hand-cut everything. I'm very happy with the result, though!

That is great!!!!!! You will be very successful in the paper piecing swap!! Do you have the Once Upon a Princees Cricut cart? There is a cute rainbow on there!!!

We don't; I think my plan is to make a bunch of circles in the rainow colors (ROY G BIV) and then cut them in half-- two for the price of one!
