We want to get some sort of a snack in World Showcase. We are having a larger breakfast and lunch, so we just want something light. ::MickeyMo

Our people like:
1. Anything except Japanese
2. NOT seafood
3. Picky eaters, but willing to try if we hear it’s good! :flower:
4. To do take-out and continue walking around

Can anyone make some recommendations for us??? :wizard:

The recently opened Seasons food court in the Land will give one of the wider choices of food in one spot. From what I can tell, you can get either big or small here.

This link http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm will give you all the menus of the different places.

there is a counter service place in mexico. we love it because it is open air and the food is great. I think they have nachos and things like that as well as meals. They also have churos and other desserts. You could also try fish and chips in england. Those are kryssa's favorite. Technically that is seafood but they're still really good. Tastes like chicken :earsboy:

I absolutely love, love, love the Kringla Bakery in Norway. Eat lunch there every time I go. They have really good open-faced sandwiches (ham, roast beef, etc.), and not to mention a huge selection of desserts (although the rolled concoction with cinnamon spread in it was really dry last March; every other time it's been great though). It's kind of fun too because the eating area is outside and this pack of sparrows apparently took up residence there many years ago; a flock of them is always around, looking for food. They aren't pushy though and they don't steal food. :teeth: Plus it's nice just to be in the shade and out of the hot sun.

The Bakery in the French pavillion has ham and cheese croissant and quiche, plus an unbelieveable dessert selection. The croissant and quiches are one of the greatest bargains on property imho. Just aware that the quiche is probably more custard-like than most Americans might expect.

The Fish & Chips stand in the UK is good too, as is the Moroccan counter service and, as mentioned already, the Kringla bakery in Norway. Enjoy!

Another vote for France counter service here. I had a cheese plate there and it was the best cheese I had ever had ...and I live 5 minutes from the Cheeseheads ;) . Also my son had the quiche and loved it and my Mom loved her French Turkey sandwich. My cheese plate also came with a baguette and some fresh grapes. We all tried desserts which were oooh la la fantastique. I also had the BEST cup of coffee on the whole trip there, although just as I commented on that, I spilled almost all of it on the floor  . So if you do get the coffee, don't say a word, just sip with a smile ;)

Another vote for Kringla Bakeri. Fresh meat sandwiches that can be divided and yummy desserts which can also be divided. DH and I split a sandwich and frosted sweet pretzel for lunch usually.

Yorkshire Fish & Chips in UK, Burgers & Hot Dogs at the American Pavillion or Seasons foodcourt in the Land.

I love to get...
a pastry (schoolbread) at the bakery in Norway
an egg roll in China
a brat in Germany (give the bun to the birds)
tiramisu at the Italian cart
dessert/pastry at the bakery in France
fish and chips in England

Next trip I'm wanting to try something from Canada, maybe take-out cheese soup, and a German Chocolate Cookie I've read about from Germany.

I hope this gives you some wonderful ideas! Enjoy your trip!

Try the crepes in France with chocolate, strawberry or sugar toppings, it's yummy!

We LOVE the French Bakery. We stop here for snacks. We stop here for Desert. We stop here whenever we have an excuse.

I love Napoleons, DH loves the eclairs, DD just works her way thru anything they have  chocolate.
