We are going Mid-October and are staying off-site and will purchase Genie +. These are our top rides below. Looking for suggestions on best strategy for rope drop versus trying to book a lighting lane. Thanks!

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure
Frozen Ever After
Soarin' Around the World

And:
Spaceship Earth
Journey into Imagination with Figment
Living with the Land
The Seas with Nemo & Friends

So we don't usually do G+ for Epcot but we do stay onsite so that helps with getting into the parks early. But even during high crowd days, we almost always manage to get on all those rides.

You could see what you get for G+ that morning and plan to RD either Remy's or Frozen based on what you can get. I would prioritize Remy over FEA for G+. Which ever ride you don't hit at RD, you can try to ride during fireworks or get in line at park close if you're unable to get a G+. Even if it's an evening with extended hours, the line during fireworks and at close will likely be much shorter than any other time since early AM. Staying offsite will put you behind the pack for RD for resort guests so don't expect to walk on either ride but that will be your best bet with some of the lowest wait times of the day. Soarin should be last priority and even without G+, you should be able to eyeball it and at some points in the day, the wait drops around 20-30 min and it's usually not that long.
