Epcot strategy for fast passes - skyway

A few questions -- I was hoping someone has used the sky way from the carribean beach. I have used it from pop but not caribbean.
was trying to decide on fast passes but this is during early magic hours on may 14th so not sure if the skyway will be running that early. If it was then we take the skyway go to Frozen ever after and then head to Soarin with a fast pass if we get it.

Thoughts on:
1. needing to be at Epcot by 7:30 for early entry opening at 8:00am. Skyway or bus?
2. If skyway was thinking of going to frozen ever after and fast pass Soarin?
2. if Bus then fast pass Frozen ever after, but head straight to Soarin?

Also looking for information with the construction and what is blocked.

Skyliner will likely start running at 7:30. I’d Take the bus.

If you have no interest in TT and are taking the bus, yes, I’d RD Soarin and FP Frozen. The International Gateway crowd is larger now AND it’s harder to get to Frozen with the center of the park closed.

Imagine future world as a donut. You can’t go in the hole, but you can walk around the outside of the donut to get to the various rides.

World Showcase has no meaningful construction right now.

The Skyliner CBR to Epcot takes like 12 min tops. Of course, the walk to the Skyliner could take longer. And the bus system at CbR is kafkaesque.

Your problem here isn't really the skyliner; it's the EMH and FP. There are no FP during EMH.

The Skyliner will be open in order to get you there for EMH. The security line at the IG is what you really need to be prepared for though.

Thanks I decided to go with the entry at future world and got frozen after for 2ish to 3ish time frame.!!!

Dh wanted to take skyliner instead of bus to epcot when we were there this wk. We got there before my bro+gf (who took bus) but they got in line for TT before we did. Future world rd was before intl gateway so they were let in before us as well. As mentioned before, skyliner opens at 730 regardless of emh.

We stayed at CBR end of Feb and took skyliner to Epcot in plenty of time to be through security for the 8am EMH opening. Although we stayed in a building right next to the skyliner stop at the Riviera (closer to Epcot) so it was super fast. We actually woke up at 7:15 and were in the front of the line for Frozen for 8am I don't think they will be running buses from CBR to Epcot because of the skyliner running.

I loved that ride myself. I managed to get a tshirt advertising it in the Mickey's Philharmagic gift shop last fall.

We were at WDW all of last week.

Here is just one of our Skyliner experiences that I posted in another thread:

A good example of just how convenient Skyliner makes traveling to those parks is last Tuesday we took a much needed midday nap and overslept a bit. We didn’t even leave our CBR Aruba room until 30 minutes already into our 5pm Soarin’ FP window. Without running, we still made that FP with 8 minutes to spare not even counting the grace period.


We also took Skyliner first thing that Tues morning to Epcot from CBR with zero problems - in fact, we actually arrived 5-10 minutes after rope drop and were through security and tapped in quickly. We walked over to Frozen first thing and waited around 20 minutes in standby.

If you are going straight to Soarin at rope drop I would bet your wait there will be even less.

I can’t recommend maximizing your use of Skyliner enough - it is an absolute game changer for my family of four.
