Epcot Segway Tour & Fast Pass

I just saw an old thread on here where someone said that at the end of the Epcot Around the World Segway Tour they received a FP for any attraction in Epcot. Can anyone confirm that this is still the case?

The planner in me is having a hard time dealing with the idea of missing RD and a chance to grab an early FP for Soarin' (although knowing that I'll be in the WS before it opens to everyone else is a tiny consolation )

We went on an 8:30 tour in late May and did not receive a FP at the end. I would still highly recommend this tour, though.

We did not receive a FP at the end of our Segway tour.

We didn't get them, either. Pin, yes. FP, no.

We did get an EE FP during "Wild by Design"...they pause as you're there and allow you to run over and get your own.

I did this tour December 2010 and May 2011 and did not get a FP at the end. I do have two nice pins, though.

Thanks for all the responses. I guess I shouldn't get my hopes up. I wanted to do the earliest tour possible but in August there is no 7:45 tour, so we're doing the 8:30. By the time we finish, the park will have been open for an hour and a half. Oh well... I'm still very excited to do the tour!

Not sure how many people are in your family, but here's what we did in late June:

DH, DD16, & her BFF took the 9:30 Segway Tour. I didn't join them because we have a DS13 & he wasn't old enough. We will all do it when he's 16.

While those three were on the Segways, DS13 & I rode some rides & gathered up TT FP for the whole family to use together when the Tour was done at 11:30am. They were finished early & we met up with them about 11:15. DS13 & I had 10 FP for TT !!! Our whole group of five got to ride together twice.

If you have anyone in your group not doing the tour, have them collect FP.

Oo, I didn't know you get a pin! My boyfriend and I decided to do this rather last minute so we have a 9am tour. It's our second Epcot day though, so I'm not too bummed that we'll be missing out on FP. So excited.

Most of the tours have pins. I think I've gotten one on every tour I've done except that little "Behind the Seeds" one.

The Segway one (unless they've changed it) has a little guy on a Segway that moves. It's pretty cute.

This is exactly the same thing we are doing next week - my DH and DD (19) are taking the tour, my DD (13) and I will be riding Soarin' and collecting fast passes

That's a great idea but it's just the two of us so it won't work for us.

Are you sure they didn't say at the end of the tour they came across the dream squad (back when they were doing that) and got dream fast passes? I thought I read a post like that a while ago.

When I did the Segway tour we happened across the dream squad as we were finishing up the tour and they handed purple Mickey ears to us as we rode by.

No, it didn't specifically say that but perhaps that was the case.
