I am working on our itinerary and originally had MK for the Sat. after Thanksgiving. I have read again and again, that Sat. is just so busy at MK. I would rather we go to another park on that day. How is the Epcot crowd on that Sat? Or AK? Or MGM? Thanks!

We were there for that same time frame last Nov. The day after T-day, Friday, was a nightmare, even in Epcot. Of course, I'm used to going at much less congested times, so others may not feel it was so crowded. We did go to Epcot on Sat. and it was still pretty crowded, but not as bad as the day before. I think a lot of people avoid MK on Friday, so head over to Epcot, then go to MK on Sat before they go home. So Epcot isn't as bad on Sat. We finally decided to just head over to AK at lunch time since we were eating at Boma that night.

we've done Epcot the Sat after T-day for the past 2 years . Its busy, but I feel that Epcot holds crowds the best. If you hit Test Track and Mission Space or get fastpasses early, you can do the park without being too overwhelmed with crowds. We did the candelight processional package last year and it was great - went to the middle show and then had a late dinner (I think around 8:30). We missed illuminations, but since Epcot is open later than all the other parks, you would be able to see it another night.

We went down the day after T'giving in 2002. I had read how the week after T'giving was so empty, but didn't realize at the time that the weekend was still very crowded. Saturday was our first day in the parks & we went to Epcot, mainly because of our Princess Storybook Breakfast PS. We were literally the first people through the turnstile since our PS was for 8:30.

Overall, the park was very crowded, but not unmanageable. MS wasn't there yet, but TT was doable with a FP. World Showcase seemed more crowded than Future World. The only thing I didn't get to do that I really wanted was the Candlelight Processional. We did not book the dining package, because we were on the old Silver plan and we couldn't use it for dining. I thought I would be able to get in -- NOT. I did, however, sit by the Christmas tree in front of the American Adventure and listen to the whole thing. It was still beautiful, even if I couldn't see it.

Don't worry about the crowds. Just utilize FP when available. Make PS for your dining. And then go with the flow. You'll have a great time!
