I wonder how Epcot would function if:
Just allowed one FP (because that is essentially what the tiering does now). Would you see the lines at things like Journey to Imagination and Spaceship Earth shrink because people are "wasting" fast passes on skipping a line that isn't very long to begin with, thus making the standby lines never be interrupted by "line skippers", thus being shorter?
OR .. got rid of the Tiering altogether.
Sure .. most everyone would get Fast Passes for JUST the big three .. meaning those Standby lines would be atrocious all day, but how would the rest of the park be?
I think they need to start taking a look at some of the unused space in Epcot and also some rides that have gone stale in my opinion. Mission Space is a dud. They can redesign that into a Guardians of the Galaxy simulator type ride, different spin on the new GoG ride at Disneyland.
Ellen's Energy Adventure should be closed. I know some folks think its a cute ride, I do too, but the amount of space it's taking up just doesn't make any sense. Disney could rebuild that area into a premier attraction.
Is the old Honey I Shrunk/Captain EO space being utilized?
I wonder if the Tiering system will pop up in AK soon with Pandora (as it seems like EVERYONE (for a LONG while) will be trying to book 2 of their 3 fast passes for the new rides. I also wonder if all the new attractions in Hollywood Studios will the tiering system go away there.
