We leave in less than 40 days for our third trip to WDW. I am so excited and realized there are so many things that we have yet to see and do. Our oldest Son Caleb has asd and so we often take daily breaks for him to unwind:). At epcot the farthest we have ever gotten is Mexico..Is there a boat ride or something that will take you across to the middle of the countries. I thought if we started there and worked our way back then maybe we could see more. Any thoughts?

There is a boat across the lake but honestly unless you just want the experience it takes longer than the walk. we always head to the back when we arrive, Then when you are done the front of the park is much less busy. you can go either way around the lake so maybe try starting on the side opposite Mexico. the world showcase part of the park is much less stimulating and seems to help DS not to be worn out by afternoon. we visit the countries, have a nice lunch (he loves Germany) and then hit the front of the park. Have a great trip.

The Friendship boats have four landings around the World Showcase Lagoon at Disney Epcot. There are two stops, one near Mexico and the other near Canada. The Mexico boat will let off at Germany and the Canada boat will drop off at Morocco. Sometimes there is a wait for the boats to dock and let off passengers, which he may not tolerate. Do you bring simple activities to help amuse him for ride lines?

Caleb may really enjoy the trains at Germany, the winding alleys of Morocco and the waterfall at Canada. The live acts at each country are also great: check the show times on the daily Park times guide. If he doesn't like it, it is easy to just walk away. There is rarely a wait for the boat ride inside Mexico, and you may appreciate a shot of tequila at this point.

The Kim Possible Adventure http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/epcot/attractions/kim-possible/ is really fun for young scientific and inquiring minds. One of our kids loved it, the other could not care less after two attempts.

We have learned to go with the flow, without expectations of hitting every stop on our plan. Hope you all have a great time.

I like to schedule WS for a time when we're not doing FW. That's either after a really long break (by long I mean at least 3 hours at the resort which means at least 5 hours when allowing for transportation) or on a late arrival day meaning we get there when WS first opens and there's nobody else really there (it's wonderful being in WS when it's empty).

I don't know where you are staying, but you may want to consider going in thru International Gateway(back by Yacht and Beach Club and BW). This puts you inbetween France and the UK in World Showcase. You could then tour the countries and end back up in Future World.
