I just finished all the little stars for China' flag.. can you say "seeing double"... ok, off to help DS7 w/ his painted picture fram of the his 4H project... need to grab the camera!

Here is my Character Spot

I made two mats that are triple layered and inked since I didn't double layer the topper.

The topper was hand cut and then the title and Mickey flash were colored using glaze markers - it gives it a shiny embossed looked. It is about 5 by 5

The monogram C is machine stitched and inked in red on the bottom mat.

Hope the topper is okay.

This group is done.

I'm here, I'm tired so I will continue on tomorrow. Sadly I did not get anything done while on vacation. I ended up baby sitting the kids while DH had most of the fun. So tomorrow, while the boys are at school, I will sit down and make magic! LOL yeah right.....

How is your day?? I'm making mickey head countries and the ity-bity stars for china are killin' me!!! Only 13 more to go!

If you were talking to me I'm still working out how to color in the darn dinosaurs. I am teaching myself to do the ink/chalking but I'm struggling with how to apply it evenly. BUT the good news is I've figured out how to 3D the dinosaurs..lol.. Those are the only things left to add to my LO then I'm done. However I made the titles and I spelled them wrong until DH come in and asked me if I was spelling it right so after googling it I found that i was in fact spelling it wrong on all of the titles.

I thought it was Universal of Energy but I have corrected it to Universe of Energy.

Susie -- love the character spot topper! I am in that group. Can't wait to see it in person. I love that paper -- I have had to stop myself from buying it several times just cause I like it. DD wants to use it for her Toppersntag swap. I just need to remember which store carries it.

I do remember those little dinos. I really liked doing them. I used both fluid chalk -- the cat's eye ones, and shimmery chalk. I used q tips for the chalk , lots of them. I think I ran the ink pad along the edges of the dino and a quick swipe across the body some. I used the corner of the pad to create tapered stripes.

I've almost got all the World Showcase titles cut out.. will assemble them tomorrow.. and I think.. wow, this is scary.. I"m ready to assemble all my groups...
OH, nope, I got to cut out "merican" "dventure" first.. so I'll put that one on hold til Wednesday..

My goal is to get WS Title & the Epcot page done tomorrow... and than I'll finish Am. Adv. on Wed..

I'll be mailing on Friday for sure!!!
