When you do an Epcot portrait session, do you get to decide where you want your photos taken? If so, how many pavilions can you choose?
Thanks!
Thanks!
That's great!! We are between 5 right now, lol! We will have to start narrowing it down!
Yes, you choose 2, sometimes you get to do a 3rd as well if there is time (which I think often there is). We chose Morocco and Italy and Rosie asked us if we wanted to do a 3rd country, what we would like...we said either Japan or China and we did have time to do Japan as well (China would have been too far out of the way).

This may be obvious to those who have been planning longer, but is it park opening that limits the time? If that's the case, and we're already dressed appropriately to enter the park, can we tack on a honeymoon photo shoot or something similar, in order to extend the picture taking? I just love Epcot, and I can never convince everyone to go get formal portraits taken, so I'm hoping to get enough to last me for awhile!
How much is this photo session?
The Bridal Portrait Session (wedding attire, no park admission required) is $650. The honeymoon portrait session (street clothes, park admission required) is $310.
Exactly! MK + any other park = $1,300.![]()
Yeah, I would double check too. It is conceivable that they could have lowered the price, and boy would that be great, but I find that people have mistakes in their BEOs far more frequently than Disney lowers prices!
I would also be very surprised if they stopped letting you apply it toward your minimum, since it is such a huge inconvenience (and could potentially delay an early-morning ceremony) to have to do the shoot the day of your wedding. Unless they consider that a trade-off for reducing the price....![]()
According to my BEO, it's $650 even with the MK shoot, and having it 2 days after the wedding... it does not count towards the minimum expenditure.
They didn't lower the price it's listed as $1650 on my BEO... $1,000 for the MK photo shoot, and $650 for Epcot. So if there is a mistake, it would save me $350!
A-ha - $1650 is a mistake. Just show your planner the $1,300 price in the Photography PDF they sent you, or have him/her talk to Disney Event Photography to get the correct price.
I am wondering who told you the cost wouldn't count toward your minimums. Because when I did it, my Disney Event Photography contact wasn't sure if it would count (not really her purview anyway), but all three people I spoke with at DFTW confirmed that it did count toward the minimums. Of course, that was back in the Dark Ages...![]()
