Epcot planning question in light of new frozen ride

In the past we have always book a FP for Test track and did Soaring immediately at rope drop and had no issues, but now with the addition of Frozen I am not sure what to do. I booked a FP for Frozen (6pm) for our upcoming trip. I would love an earlier one but that was the best I could do and I am happy to get even that.

Now how do I do the other two rides without waiting it an hour long line? We are only doing one day at Epcot and do not want to do single rider line. We will be there rope drop to Illumination... I am thinking of three options...
1) Go immediately to test track and then cross the park for Soaring
2) Go immediately to Soaring and then cross the park for Test track
3) Go to Soaring at RD and try to hit test track late in the evening just before Illumination (say 7-8pm)

I would do soarin then test track based on current wait times. Maybe go into MDE day before and see which one has longer lines and head for that first. But don't give up on getting FP+ time change and new ones! I got some on the morning was over the moon.

We just got back. Frozen seemed to close in the afternoon/evening, so morning is prob the best time to ride. We had a 11am fastpass one day & did it at rope drop another day (waited 45 min at rope drop-wait time said 120). I would do Soarin first then TT if you are keeping your 6pm fastpass. Soarin at rope drop was a 30 min wait I think? The line def moves faster now.

With the third theater open at Soarin', I'd actually think about doing TT first, then Soarin'. The Soarin' wait times have seemingly been a little slower to build in the morning.

I agree with Missyrose. We just got back from being there. Keep the FP+ for FEA. Do TT at rope drop and then go to Soarin'. The addition of the 3rd theater has helped tremendously. We rode Soarin' around 10:00am without a FP+ and waited less than 20 minutes. TT still gets busy fairly quickly...not to mention if it storms and TT closes for a while, the line when it reopens is crazy because it's all FP+ returns.

Unfortunately 2 days at epcot is not in the cards for this trip. If I go to use my FP for Frozen and its down so be it, it just wasn't meant to be, but I am not giving it up. I was kind of thinking TT first, also that makes the day flow better and there are multiple other things to do on the Soaring side of the park without having the run back and forth. Thanks for the feedback.

So a 6 pm FP was the only time in which you could get? Were you online right at 60 days out?

We also tried for FEA right at 60 days and could only get evening time. We are planning on TT at RD and then move to Soarin. Like OP, there's more for our family to do on the Soarin side than the TT side so I'd rather be on that side after the two rides.
