Ok - please help! I'm trying to figure out what to do on my EPCOT day. Just two adults.

We are staying at Boardwalk and getting to EPCOT at 8am (EMH - they were switched to our day, so oh well...it wasn't part of the plan)

I want to do the Baymax meet and I also want to do Sum of All Thrills. If I hit Baymax first, will the line at Sum of All Thrills be crazy when I am done? Will the line for Baymax be crazy all day long? We have a FP for TT already, so I don't need to head there at Rope Drop. Do you think I can be done Baymax and Sum of All Thrills by 9am? I need to fill 9am-11am when WS opens. Where would you guys head? I'm kind of over Spaceship Earth at the moment. Will the line for Mission Space be long at 9am? I've never done Ellen's Energy Adventure - is it worth it/how much time will that take?

The rest of my plan would be to go to WS from 11am-2:30pm
Pixar Short Film at 2:40 (FP - unneeded right? but I had one to use and figured Id take it)
Figment as soon as we are done with the Short Film
Test Track FP from 3:10-4:10
Seas with Nemo FP at 5:15-6:15
Dinner at Coral Reef 5:55

Open after that - up to Illuminations at 9pm

Thanks!

You don't need a fastpass for the Pixar short cartoons or the Imagination ride.

Ellens energy ride is 45 minutes. Yes that is not a misprint. You may like it if you have never done it before. IMO the ride part is pretty good but the show part is stale now.

Mission space- There are 2 versions a rougher one and a tamer one. Lines shouldn't be too bad but there will be some lines in the am. That might be a better use of your fast pass than the pixar shorts.

I try to put my FPs as early in the morning as possible. That way as soon as they are done, I can head to a kiosk (or soon just dial it up on my phone) and make that fourth selection. Especially in Epcot and HS, where the attractions are tiered, I am more likely to get two Test Track or Soarin' passes. In my experience, which is admittedly limited, Nemo won't run out of fastpasses too early in the day, so you can probably still make it for your pre-diner reservation. If not, you can grab a window afterwards and watch the fish after just eating fish ;)

Unless things have changed, Baymax and Sum of All Thrills are NOT open during early EMH. allearsnet has these attractions open:
Epcot:

Living with the Land
Mission: SPACE
Soarin'
Spaceship Earth
Test Track

Thanks for the advice - I didn't think I could do MS and TT both as a FP? Aren't they both Tier 1 now that Soarin is closed?

Thanks! Soarin will be closed while we are there unfortunately. And with Soarin closed, I didnt really have many options for the Tier 2 fast passes. I figured the Pixar and Nemo ones aren't really needed, but I figured Id schedule something. Might be worth taking a look at moving them earlier in the day to score a 4th FP on TT to ride again or Mission Space. Good tip!

Ah thanks! I knew I had read something recently and I went back to find it and saw I read it wrong! It says SoAT opens with regular hour attractions at 9. I got myself confused!

You are doing pretty much what I do, haha. Soarin' will be closed while I am there next month, too, so I'm scrambling to find something that I want a fasptass at there (not that I don't love Epcot, it's just that I haven't experienced mega lines all that much). So I pick a few attractions that I might ride in the morning and then try for a 4th, 5th, etc. With the new ability to schedule it on the phone, if that is up when you are there, you might be able to snag a FP from the exit queue!

Glad to hear I'm not alone with the struggle for EPCOT Fast passes. I did mean to mention (and I hope I dont get tomatoes thrown at me) that I am going to attempt the same day fast pass situation, so I might be able to get Mission Space using that anyway. But since I am going after April 10th, all bets are off and I have no idea if it will work, so I want to have a good plan in place if that doesn't work out. I'll probably just end up throwing this touring plan out the window anyway and walking on Nemo whenever we feel like it. Although, I feel like Ive seen crazy wait times this week for everything and we are getting there a week from today. Plus EPCOT became not recommended when they switched the EMH days on us. So I have no idea what to expect crowd-wise.

I do know that TT is a tier one fast pass. I'm not sure on Mission space as we were there last on the final day that soarin' was open.

This kind of information can be found in the Priorities & Tiers post linked to in my signature below.

Test Trak...maybe do single rider line. Mission Space on the easy side.

We have a Test Track FP. Mission Space we will try to do during the EMH - we do orange. Been on it twice before. I'm just trying to prioritize Baymax and SoAT 8o)

I think Imagination (figment) would be a better use of your FP than the films. Simply because the films play continuously (well every xx minutes) and I've seen the imagination line get up there (well up there in that longer than 5 minutes is too long for that particular ride).

My 8 year old loves Ellen. I find it a good rest (and yeah I still find it funny even if it is outdated) but it is 45 minutes long.

I just booked my FP for Epcot last week for May 31- June 6, and Mission Space was listed as Tier 2. TT was Tier 1, as was Illuminations and Living with the Land.

SoAT first, then Baymax. Just did Baymax April 4 after Joy and Sadness. Line was never more than 15 minutes for Baymax, and we waited 8 minutes at 9:30, and that was on a 9 out of 10 day.

FP Figment instead of Pixar. Pixar's theater was not full in the afternoon, while Figment had a 35 minute wait around 2:00 when we did Pixar.

I think Soarin will be back up by then. I double checked my options and unfortunately for me Mission Space is a tier one while I am there. It changes back to a Tier 2 on May 27th. Thanks though!

Thank you! This is exactly what I needed to know!

Sooo sorry! I missed the "at 9 am" part of the post I responded to. Definitely SOAT first. You'll be in and out in no time.
