We will be in Epcot all day on Saturday Sep 3 (Labor Day Weekend). We are staying on-site (OKW), will buy Genie+, and will plan on arriving at RD (8:30am early entry). We'll be driving to the main entrance.

Our top priority is GotG, and we'd like to ride once with a boarding group and pay for a second with ILL$. We'd like to ride Remy, too, though not as much of a priority since we have been on it in Paris. We'd also like to do Soarin, Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, and maybe Frozen Ever After.

What should our priorities be for the Genie+ reservations vs. what we try to hit at rope drop? I am thinking:
7am: First get in virtual queue for GotG, then reserve a Genie+ LL for Remy, then buy an ILL$ for GotG.
8:30am: RD Test Track
Afterwards depending on our boarding group and the times we snagged, ride Soarin, Spaceship Earth, or the Land standby.
11am: Reserve Genie+ LL for Frozen Ever After
1pm: Try for another ride on Test Track if available on G+, otherwise something else

Eager to hear how this sounds and how doable. I have no idea what our return times will be for any of these LL reservations. I have read that for GotG, they are not enforcing the end times of the return windows, which gives us more flexibility with that one.

Thanks!

Here's the Thrill Data map for Genie plus at Epcot from 7/31-8/6. Labor day weekend of course will typically be busier than this, so something to think about...

I think your plan of Remy G+, then Frozen G+ at 10:30 is doable with the test track rope drop strategy. You definitely would not be able to get a TT FP afternoon unless you were able to catch a quick drop. But everything else at Epcot should be available throughout the day. Though with holiday weekend crowds, I could see Soarin' selling out at some point.

Good luck and enjoy your trip!

I went to Epcot last weekend and I followed the exact same plan. I was on the plane at 7:00am and luckily it had wifi. I got Boarding Group 19, then booked Remy, then the Guardians ILL. At 11:00 I booked LL for Frozen.

I don't know about the ILL return window, but they didn't enforce the VQ return time. Group 19 was one of the first ones called and I was traveling to All Star Movies. My ILL for Guardians was at 2:00 and they also let me ride via VQ even though I had missed the window.

The only thing different is I rode Test Track in the single rider line - walked right on.

Is it true that it doesn't matter if you're late for your boarding group time?

At this time, the return time for a VQ at GotG has not been enforced. As long as your group number has been called, you can return no matter how long it's been since it was called.
