Epcot plan critique, please.

When planning our Epcot day, I managed to make the worst FP choices probably in existence... I made them thinking we could rush through Future World and get to World Showcase ASAP. That being said, I need to know if my mom and I will make it to Soarin' by 10am if we hit my husband/son's TT FP that starts at 9:10, make a pit stop to the Character Spot then onto Soarin'.

Admittedly, I didn't want to do Epcot at all until my kids were older because I thought they would have been bored. Now that I've had some time to actually look into it, they are probably going to love it. They are 5 and 2. I've made myself very familiar with MK and DHS and feel confident about those FP choices, but I'm really starting to doubt our Epcot day.

Do you think the above plan can happen or should I look into switching things around?its listed as a level 3 day if that helps. (And for reference our other FPes are Turtle Talk 10:15-11:15 and Spaceship Earth 11:15-12:15) thank you all!!

It depends how long the Character Spot takes. I'm not familiar with it. Is this a regular 9am opening or AM EMH?

I would head straight for Soarin' at rope drop, then Test Track for the FP (you have until 10:10 to get in line), and squeeze the character spot in whenever you get a chance (maybe between Turtle Talk and SE). The line for the characters probably won't be too bad on a 3 day.

You don't need to stress much with turtle time, there never is a huge wait there.

I would also encourage rope dropping and hitting soarin first. It's a bit of a haul to get back there, but you can hit it then TT, then everything from there you've got plenty of time for. There's even some chance you could make it through the character spot before before TT as it's on the way, but if it's a long line you can possibly pass it then and come back later.
