Epcot Pixar Short Film and Frozen

1. Captain EO is now closed, right?
When will the new Pixar Short Film experience open?

2. The Frozen ride should open near the end of April or early May, if I have read the news correctly. Do they typically open up Fast Pass+ 30-60days prior to a new ride opening (or after refurb) or will the Fast Pass option only open the day the ride opens? I guess this also applies to Soarin'. We will be there the second week of June so I am not going to expect Soarin' to be back open.

Well, I can't find any info on the Pixar opening except that it will be soon. That works.

Anyone with any ideas on question 2?

The hard part for me is that I'm sure the frozen ride will be tier 1. & I am not willing to give up my Soarin' Fast Pass (especially with the new film!) for a frozen stupid ride fast pass. I'm also not willing to wait on a lo g standby line for the stupid frozen ride. It looks like we won't be riding the frozen ride for a very very very long time....unless the frozen ride is open for our mid may trip while Soarin is down for the refurb.

I would be more than surprised if they opened up FP bookings on a brand new ride before they had done a soft opening to see if everything was working properly.

The Short Film experience should open this month.

Frozen ever after is supposed to open May 1st.

Thanks. That's what I wasn't sure about since we will be there the beginning of June. I knew of course they would do a soft opening but didn't know if fast passes would open up and I needed to be looking for them come April/May. I guess not!
