There is a condition that inflicts many many children when they travel to WDW from parts unknown. It's called lackofparenting. It typically occurs when adults take the concept of vacation and apply it to their whole day, including their obligations to keep their children in line. It is usually accompanied by lackofconcernforothers and IthinkIowntheplace. The symptoms are easy to identify and can take the form of climbing on Legacy monuments, having an unquenchable need to wash your feet in a public fountain, cutting in front of others to avoid having to wait in a line that is good for others but not for you, and not quieting your child's tantrum in the middle of a performance that many others are trying to enjoy. If you feel any of these symptoms in your own behavior, return immediately to your hotel room and call it an early day. Use the pool, hang out in the room or find your own way to take a break and recharge. If you see the behavior in others, do your best to ignore it or better yet, treat it with kindness. A smile and a 'have a great day' can go a long way toward getting others to see thier own symptoms and get them to seek help. And it sure will make you feel better than to confront it and end up in a very ugly public display in the Happiest Place on Earth.

You are so right!
