A lady (who I think must have been a first time Disney visitor) was freaking out on this very scary ride! She panicked on the drop and thought she was dropping off the waterfall backwards. I wonder how she made it through the rest of her trip if this was that scary?!?!

that's funny! Maelstrom isn't scary to most people, I guess that lady was just scared of a silly thing like the drop! same w/the Splash Mtn drop too for that matter & Everest, Test Track, etc
