Everytime I see it I thank the Disney Gods the awful arm has come down. Beautiful picture!

Now if they could just get rid of those "tombstones" in front of SSE!
Then the Disney gods can rest!

In speaking of the arm, here's one from our 2005 honeymoon.

oh and btw- is that a permanent thing (the arm being down)?
I'd be curious to know if that was an original part of SSE design...anyone know?

The arm was NOT part of the original SSE design, and wasn't added until years later. I really do hope it's gone for good!

The arm was NOT part of the original SSE design, and wasn't added until years later. I really do hope it's gone for good!

I believe the arm being down is permanent. Or at least, if it's temporary, Disney will have to build a new arm if they put it back up. It was totally crushed up.

crushed up? You mean by wind and rain? Seemed to look fine to me in 2007, but hey i didn't stand there and stare at it either, so what do i know..lol.
