I have been reading some of the current posts about the pearls and the candy artist at Epcot and was wondering what other neat things there are to do??? Does anyone one else have other things like that that they love at Epcot? Please share??? :cheer2:

There is a wonderful Henna artist in Morocco. I had my hand done last year and the design is very intricate and pretty. And if you get it done at the beginning of your trip you can go back to her near the end and she will touch it up for free. It was an awesome experience I plan on doing it again this year. There are lots of designs to choose from.

There's LOTS to do in the World Showcase! Below is a sample itinerary I made for our upcoming trip; this is on a Wednesday in April, and has the exact show times of each of these performers in their pavilions. Keep in mind, I have

EXCELLENT list and I agree with your smilie assessment of each. :rotfl:

Don't forget that you can go to each country too and just absorb the general ambiance of each area.....because each section plays different music, the gardens are uniquely designed for each country and the buildings are built in the "style" of where you are.

Epcot's world showcase is a great place to be.

It is also very enjoyable to talk to the young people from the country you are visiting. And don't forget the great treats, like the pastries in France.

How much is the henna printing? A nice lady from Minnesota was near us in line waiting for MGM to open Tuesday morning and she had it. It was stunning. I was surprised how long it had lasted.

WS:
Norway - viking ship play area & Maelstrom boat ride
Mexico - mariachis, El Rio del Tiempo boat ride, churros
China - personalized (in Chinese) fans, acrobats
Germany - cuckoo clocks, model train
Italy - living statues
USA _ funnel cakes, turkey legs
Japan - pick a pearl, candy artist, kaki gori
Morocco - MoRockin
France - mime, pastries
UK - hedge maze
Canada - beaver tails

Alot of the countries have characters as well! We love the kidcot stations at each country

FW:
Ice Station Cool - especially Beverly!
Turtle Talk with Crush at The Living Seas
There are three talking water fountains at Epcot:
-1- Outside Mouse Works shop
2- behind Innoventions West, near the restroom, between Innoventions and HISTA Pavilion
–3- near the play fountain between Future World and World Showcase.
Talking Trash Can - near the Electric Umbrella
Nestle Junior Chef program at The Land pavilion. Just head downstairs to the Sunshine Season Food and look for the bright yellow bakery storefront to the far left

EPCOT ROCKS!

Princess Wannabe, where did you find the exact showtimes? We're going at the end of April but on a Monday and I'd love to know when people are performing.

Did anyone mention the masks??? They are free. You go to each pavillion and get something to add to the mask. My 12 year old daughter still likes to do them.

I had from the end of my index finger to a little past my wrist done and it was $15 the pricing depends on what you get. I think they have some as low as maybe $10 and it goes on up depending how much you get done. It was one of my favorite parts of the trip last year.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the living statue in France. We happened upon this a couple years ago and it's great. My nephew, who was 6 at the time, went up to her and held her hands. It was very cool. It usually attracts a large crowd, but don't be afraid to approach them.

We saw British Invasion for the first time last year in England, and they were unbelievable! I don't even like the Beatles that much, nor live bands, but they were truly incredible and so much fun! That is a definite don't miss!

I thought this was in Italy??

You can find the times for all the attractions at Steve S.'s site:

pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/

Altho times are subject to change, it's pretty accurate...just be sure to check it again right before you go on your trip!
