I am starting to think there will never been an uncrowded day at disneyworld again. Parked opened at 9:00. We got there about 9:45 give or take a few minutes. Test Track was at 20 minutes and soarin at 45 minutes. We left at 12:30 with Soarin at 60 minutes and Test Track at 70 minutes. Fast passes were already gone for the day and the fast pass line at TT was out the front door and about another 20-30 yards past the FP rope entrance. They were actually stopping people from entering the regular line because it was too crowded. If any of you are going to disney soon you need to get there at park opening and push hard to get the rides done because it will fill up quickly. They are on smaller hours also so downtown disney is also a zoo.

Isn't this part of Jersey Week? We are going in a couple of weeks on the hopes of hitting right before the Thanksgiving crowds come in. We'll be leaving on Sunday 19th, but our last day at the parks will be Saturday.

that sounds pretty normal for a sunday. also TT breaks down a lot, so that may have been part of the problem.

We were in Epcot yesterday and it was pretty average, maybe even just a bit on the quiet side.

Remember too, Chubby Checker was the headliner for Eat To The Beat. That may also account for a few more bodies in the park.

Wow, that sounds like the spring break crowds!

Hope it quiets down some, maybe Chubby Checker and Jersey week did have something to do with it. :confused3

Maybe being a weekend had something to do with it. Sorry Epcot was packed!

I was at EPCOT from about 12-3 and I've seen it much worse, considering it was a F&W Saturday. On most weekends through the course of the year it's going to be pretty crowded on the weekends. Fastpasses in the AM for Soarin or TT are always suggested.

Not sure what people expect sometimes. :confused3

epcot was strangely packed when we were there too, test track went down within the first half hour, but we were only in line for about 20 min total, cause at rope drop we were first family for soarin and got to ride it on our own

EPCOT will be packed on the weekends during the Food and Wine Festival.........many locals are passholders and work 5 days a week and with the weather being perfect many head to the parks. It also depends on who is playing in concert there, but as a general rule if you are on vacation and want to hit the Food and Wine Festival it is best to do it during the weekdays..........just my observation.

Yes but many schools are also closed on Tues so parents take the full week and they only lose 2 days.

We went last Sunday and it was very crowded. We did what we could utilizing FP's. What we didn't do, we accomplished easily on Thursday. It wasn't crowded at all.

Here's what it looked like:

We just got back and noticed it was more crowded on the weekends as well. Though on Saturday the wait for TT was 20 mins as well as Soarin and Mission Space. Everything else was near walk on.

During the week days though, we had no wait for anything we wanted to go on.

It had to be a weekend thing because we went on 10/30 (at about 5pm) and were surprised at how UNCROWDED it was. We were able to (literally) walk right on to TT -- we didn't even have to wait in the pre-show room, the show was just ending and we walked from the que to the line for the ride. Stand-by time was listed as 15 mins. but it was way less than that. We'd planned a half-day (spent the morning at MGM) because our only "must do" was the new Nemo ride. We were able to ride everything else too. We were very surprised!

Yep! It's the weekend. I was there Saturday. I started at AK, and moved over to EPCOT at 1:30. We parked in create 44, which isn't too bad considering it was 1:30.

I pulled Soarin FPs (good for 6:00), but TT was all gone by then. The kids rode TT single rider, which was about a 20 minute wait (sign said 40).

We didn't wait more than 20 minutes for any ride though. When we used our Soarin FP, even though the sign said 75 minutes, I know it was more like 20 minutes (they were up past all the trivia screens).

Now over in World Showcase? Those lines were a little scary with all the folks at F&W. We waited 20 minutes for Maelstrom! The line was out the door, which was the longest I've ever seen it.

Last Monday we didn't even need Fast Passes for Soarin'. It was a walk-on.
