To be honest, I do LIKE Animal Kingdom but I can't go any more ... if we are going in August I'm going to buy a face mask like doctors and dentists wear, then I can go - I don't want my boyfriend to miss out because of me! He HATES most rides so not sure if we'll do Everest ... he's going for me because he knows I've been the one who supported him through the worst 2 years of his life ... he did the same for me - supporting me when my lovely grandad was ill ... I couldn't have coped without him when my grandad died. We've had some tough times but I think we ar through that. He always told me he would NEVER go to Disney but said now he WILL because I'd do it for him. Personally I LOVE MGM ... so sad so many changes are being made to that park ... I was talking to someone who used to work there (California) and she told me that if they DO announce that the changes will indeed take place, I should still get to see what I want - they are unlikely to say, "We are closing MGM tomorrow - or even at the end of the month ..." People going this summer should be able to visit before they do this work. I sure hope she's right ... she's never been right about any thing else ... I would be very upset if I was to go and Paul and I couldn't see Beauty and the Beast, Star Tours, The Little Mermaid and Fantasmic - not to mention the extreme stunts show ... as it is I'm gutted they closed catastrophe canyon part. I was very surprised to get a giimpse of flight of the navigator thing ... I thought it had been removed - and I certainly thought it was smaller than that! For ME the problem is that I won't be able to stay very long at AK, even with the face mask ... That could be an interesting conversation at the security desk ... I'm not even sure if it will help but needs must. It's hard to hold your breath for so long! My boyfriend LOVES coconut and can only eat it when he knows he won't see me for 2 days ... he left ONE FLAKE on his mouth when I was blind once, gave me a kiss and I threw up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was telling him about World Showcase and he said, 'Oh great! We'll be able to eat at a different place every day - just think how many different foods I can try!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I can't wait to get to EPCOT and take my time going around it!
