We are going to Orlando for our HM and are going to US, DC, BG in Tampa, and probably one disney park. I have already been to MK, should we go to Epcot or MGM?

hm well it depends... i would do Epcot just becuase i cant wait for mission space. Although they dont have too many ride type attractions. But they have illuminations... so i think thats my vote.

I thought MGM would have more to do but after looking at the website, it looks like Epcot would be better.

Do you like rides? Then go to MGM....but....
Epcot has many beautiful things to discover. It sounds to me you may have your ride quota filled by the other places you will visit. I would vote Epcot.
Congatulations, and have a great trip!

EPCOT simply because how neat would it be to visit 11 different countries on your honeymoon in one day! ::yes:: :teeth: Have a lovely dinner at San Angel Inn or Le Cellier and then stick around for Illuminations afterwards!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...that's a day to remember. :D

FI and I are both pretty picky, is there any website that has menus to any of those places?

Since it's your honeymoon, I voted Epcot though I love MGM, too. I would eat at Le Cellier over San Angel Inn for a special meal, although do the boat ride in Mexico. There are also great French, Italian, Morrocan and Japanese restaurants to choose from. World Showcase is so romantic at night, make sure you take a stroll.

I would vote for EPCOT here. It looks like you may get your fill of thrill rides from the other parks you guys are visiting. EPCOT doesn't really have a ton as far as rides go, but, it is a very interesting place and can be enjoyed at a slower pace than most parks. World showcase is our favorite park of any disney park...lots of great shows, the food and illuminations at the end of the night is awesome. also, you are walking distance to the boardwalk afterwards for a romantic dinner and stroll or music and dancing if you like....whatever you decide, have a great trip...maybe we'll see you guys...we're there june 16th-30th...celebrating our 15th anniversary!!

MGM does have more rides, but Epcot has all those cool countries and some cool rides too. Don't go to Epcot just for that Mission: Space ride. I rode it and it just makes you dizzy and it's kind of confusing when you don't know what you're doing. Each person has a job for making the flight a success. The ride reminds me of the Cajun Cliffhanger at Six Flags in Illinois where you just spin really fast and are pressed against the wall, or seat in this case.

However...Rock 'N Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror are so fun at MGM...

There's SO much to do at Epcot and then there is Illuminations! I find that to be romantic, exciting, and WONDERFUL!! How about an Illuminations Cruise?

We decided on Epcot, although if mission space spins I can't go on but FI probably will :)

Thanks for all of your input, I am excited now to go to Epcot :) I wasnt that impressed by MK so I have always said I don't like disney parks but maybe this will change that.

I think you will like World Showcase in Epcot. It does not feel like a theme park. I couldn't go on MS either because I was afraid it would make me sick. I get sick on spinning rides. I'm not sure if MS spins, but it has something called G forces that has made a lot of people sick so I skipped it.
