My next trip is a 2 park day: All MK and one day of MK/Epcot ....thought EPCOT seemed for festive for the holidays, and with 2 little ones figured more to do at EPCOT. BUT now I'm reading about the Osborne lights....whatdya think? No Epcot and MGM instead?

The lights are worth going to see  :Pinkbounc

I think that your kids would enjoy osborne lights better, there both cool. But I would rather go to osborne.

Tough decision, I would have to do both, but if you need to decide what is offered besides the rides at each park, go to my link below and look at the Epcot and MGM times guide to see what and when was offered at both parks last year.

MGM, the lights are a walk through starting around 6 pm.

Epcot, has Candlelight Processional, Christmas Tree and Wonders of Light Arch Ceremony, Illuminations, various types of Santas at each country or what ever that country observes during the holiday.

I say Epcot wins out.

If you can park hop, you could leave Epcot after the 6pm christmas tree lighting ceremony, and take the WDW boat launch from the Epcot International Gateway to MGM to see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights and then back to Epcot to watch the 930pm Illuminations.

I guess I chose Epcot if you don't have park hoppers.

Sincerely, Ray :)

My vote is for MGM and the lights too. Gets you into the holiday mood right quick. While there is more to do at EPCOT, I find it a little boring(educational). Don't get me wrong, I love to be educated, just not while I'm on vacation. I prefer the goofy parades and funny shows. Another thing to think about is the size of the parks. I have never been able to make it all the way around the World Showcase at EPCOT. Its just too darn big. It is very easy to manage MGM in a day and see most of the attractions. I hope this helps. :flower:

Yes, this all helps a lot..I may been to just do another day to get it all in :)
Have a wonderful Christmas all!

normally I would say go to Epcot, but the Osborne lights (especially if you havent seen them before) are something special! Make sure you go to there! If you do not add a day you could always go to epcot in the morning and do all the future world attractions and head over to MGM after. The parks are not far at all from eachother so you don't lose alot of time in hopping.

That is what I would probably do in your situation!
