Epcot on the 4th of July?

How busy is Epcot on the 4th of July during the day?

Would anyone recommend another park during the day. I really want to watch the Illuminations show there on the 4th. I have a dinner PS in Mexico!

We will be joining you on the 4th. Because of its size, Epcot will not onlyappear less crowded then MK or MGM but usually is. Like you, we have a PS in Epcot for dinner and will stay for Illuminations. We plan on spending the morning at AK or MGM with no plans to go near the MK that day since it is usually very crowded on the 4th.

The days are counting down!!

We did Epcot for the 4th last year and it wasn't that bad considering what day it was. Sure it was busy but not like MK or MGM.

We had a PS for San Angel Inn in the Mexico pavillion for dinner, after which we headed to MGM since Sorcery in the Sky only runs 1-2 times a year and we had seen the regular Illuminations the night before.

MGM was quite busy once we got there, we didn't really plan on riding much before getting there and don't think we really did anything once we arrived except get a good spot for the fireworks.

We are not going until July 16th this year but if I was there over the 4th I would be at Epcot for at least most of the day again as it handles the crowds the best I think.

Disrookie - Great minds think alike!!! We're also planning to be at Epcot on July 4th, and we'll be having dinner at Mexico too!!

This is our third time going for July 4th, and we don't find it to be that bad - crowd wise. Just be sure to use Fastpass!!

Maybe we'll see ya there!!!
