We're doing 6 days in the parks, planning to end with Epcot on Xmas eve. Would you rather/recommend planning for a full sit down meal, or nibble our way through the Holiday Kitchen booths?

We like to do a late lunch at Biergarten on Christmas Eve - around 2ish. Because it just feels so Christmasy there. :)

Before and after lunch we’ll try/share a few drinks and snacks as we walk around WS.

Crowds could be high which means having a reservation is clutch. Last thing you want is a hungry family and long lines that make it hard to actually get food. Just from my experience! If everyone in your party is patient and wants holiday booths then by all means.

This is exactly what we have done in the past.

However, with Covid and transportation, I would recommend doing what we did today: book a TS close to park closing and leave to an almost empty Epcot.

We didn’t wait too long for a bus, but still had to take the second bus due to distancing/capacity. This is our plan again for the holidays

We are planning to stay at the Swan for the first time ever so can walk! :)

Biergarten always looks nice but it seems like far too much food for us! I wonder if they are restructuring the buffet for COVID times?

I would recommend a meal. This is what we did when we have been there on Christmas Eve. I would also point out that not all food booths stay open until around closing time. Some close at sunset. I would expect this year booths will operate differently from previous years too...maybe similar to this year's Wine and Food Festival
