Hi all. We've always done Epcot on a Saturday and thought it was great. Now..... in lieu of all the posts about how Epcot's crowd 'changes' during the food and wine festival plus the fact that there's more people there in general, do you think it's still the best park on a Saturday in October?
Thanks so much!

Personally, I have been over there several times on Friday and Saturdays...late afternoon into early evenings. We did leave between 7pm and 8pm each time because we live here and don't hang for Illuminations (it puts us to sleep now...lol), and so perhaps it does get bad later on. Here's the thing though, people are drinking alcohol and if that kind of atmosphere bothers you, you'd probably be better off doing the WS earlier in the day. If you checked out WS in the earlier part of the day and enjoyed some of the F&W booths for lunch and be out of there before anyone can annoy you. Like I said, we didn't see anyone out of line at all, but we're pretty laid back. I think we would definitely have noticed if someone was falling over drunk or obnoxious...and we did not see that.

Thanks for posting this...we have an ADR for Norway on the 5th of November and I was starting to get worried.

Thank you. I generally don't let people annoy me but I don't want my three kids in a too-much-alcohol atmosphere. I do like the idea of maybe leaving there by 7 or so; we probably all have IllumiNations memorized anyway. As for crowd levels, is it a lot busier during the day?

We thought it was busy on Oct 15th. The later it got, the more crowded it was. I have a feeling that AK would be slower, maybe MGM. The F&W Fest brings so many more locals to Epcot on the weekends.
