Epcot NYE??

I understand that Epcot held a special Rock & Roll event last NYE which included bands and a buffet etc..

Does anyone know if they are doing something similar this year.

We do have PS's for Garden Grill, but would the buffet (if on) be more of a party atmosphere.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I've never been at EPCOT during NYE so I'm just going to bump this back to page one for you, so that some of our veterans can offer you information and advice.

I'm not sure about something like you describe being held at Epcot (it's possible). However, it sounds an awful lot like what is done at PI every NYE. The do have a "name" band and a buffet party. It's "over 21 only" and is a special ticket event. Depending upon the talent and how elaborate they go with the buffet, the price generally runs from $50 per person up to a much higher ticket. (It was up over $100 for 1999 and has gone down in the last year or two).

In the past, Epcot has always had a "party" atmosphere around World Showcase with lots of musical entertainment. It's regular park admission.

Last NYE Epcot did have a buffet with a band. I think it was the first year they have done that. No word yet if they will be doing it again.

EPCOT is doing this again this year. In fact, their is an HP commercial that has been airing for the past 2 weeks on TV which talks about winning a 5 night trip to this event. You can register and potentially win 1 of 10 trips instantly at the website below. I've been doing it for the last 2 weeks and had no luck. But, who knows maybe I'll get lucky.

Hi guys

Well I've just called WDW Dining to ask about a Buffet on NYE and they don't have any information on this!!!!

Anyone know which restaurant or area this takes place in?

Unfortunately I can't enter the competition as I'm from the UK but good luck to everyone else.

I believe it is closed to the general public. I doubt if reservations would know anything about it.
