Epcot / Newbie Interest Thread- Sign Ups on Monday, April 6th

And I have that window in the morning where I have to get the kiddos to school on time.

NOT that it matters for me. Just can't volunteer to be a buddy.

Question about the General Disney category because I wasn't sure. Are the topics in there still EPCOT related (ie, fountains, monorail, World Showcase title, meals etc) or all disney in general (other things not found in EPCOT)?

I requested this one and I'm hoping it just means something Disney related since this is my first swap. I can do EPCOT, just thought it would be easier to come up with something in general for the first time. If missesdisney or mickeyteacher could help me with sign ups it would be great. I, too, have to get the kiddos up and ready and out the door, then its off to work. Wouldn't probably be able to try anything on my own until after 8 p.m. Am afraid it would be too late by then. Glad to see everyone is up for this....was afraid it had been done too many times to have any interest.

Hmm. While I like the idea of getting a full set of each side of the park, the way life is right now I probably shouldn't be signing up for big groups. I'll have to see how things look closer to signups.

I was going to keep the general disney- just general you can use it anywhere in your books. This group is geared towards our newbies that are nervous about a themed swap. So, I think anything can go in this group.
Sign-ups will be early in the day- I will get up and post them as soon as possible. Shoudl be around 8 ish. I'm on Spring Break that week, so I hope to get an early start that morning.

I love the Epcot swap. I definetly want all of the countries, probably won't do the other side. I like 2 elements. If there was enough interest I might like to do whole pages.

1) Do you want to do an element swap? If so, how many elements per country/ spot? 2 would be cool I love the mix and match thing
2) Do you want to do a completed page swap? If you want a complete page, how many elements? I wouldn't do this one
3) Do you want the world showcase group to include every country or 2 groups for the countries?2 groups for the countries zand open up more as they fill

I agree with Disney Rider on the answers. I just don't know how we would anyone would have time to do all the countries for 1 group. I heard the last Epcot swap was a BEAST of a swap! hahaha.
I would love to do an element swap but I think a few groups would be great.
I wouldn't do a full page swap.
At least two groups for the countries would be good.

I know....real creative name, huh. Good thing I'm a little better at scrapping than picking screen names. I can't be too sure of how well I do at that either. Either all the scrappers in my area are doing it in secret or it just isn't all that popular here. Anyone on here from PA?
I checked my schedule today for the week you are taking signups. I'm on the 8 a.m. rotation which means I won't have access to a computer until at least 5:30 p.m. So, I sure would appreciate the assistance with the signups. You all have been so helpful.
I've been rambling on and on to my DH about this thread and his eyes just kinda glaze over. Tonight he finally asked me to see if any of you can give me directions on how to fold laundry . Guess that was a not-so-subtle hint.

As for DH tell him as soon as you start swapping you'll be showing him "Mt. Washmore" in your laundry room!!! Laundry will take a back seat! LOL

Besides tell him the best way to fold laundry is with his two hands you're on a break! LOL (Gets my DH every time!! When he does fold the laundry, I go back and refold because he does NOT do it correctly, nor do my 5 kids)

I live in PA - up in between the Poconos & the Lehigh Valley. Where are you in PA?
