We have been going to WDW for years and I remember the year that Epcot opened. It was totally exciting and new, with an emphasis on learning and innovation. It remained that way for several years following. Today as we were touring through Future World what occurred to me is that there is a need for drastic intervention, even if it means closing it for several months to get it back to its glory days. Test Track is closed. I think its great that they are improving it. It needs updating, but think about what is left? Horizons is gone. It hit me today that the Ellen movie at the Universe of Energy is so old that Jaime Lee Curtis has brown hair! Mission to Mars is a good attraction but it is over quickly and doesn't offer much outside the actual ride. The Met Life pavillion is only used for marketing merchandise and events. It was a good attraction at one point. Imagination is back to showing the old Captain EO film and the change to the Figment, ride through attraction is not as good as the original. Listen to the Land? I miss the theme song and the fish tanks are depleted. Soarin' is the anchor right now and the film needs to be cleaned up and reshot. There are black spots through out. The worst is the damage that they have done to the Living Seas. The original movie was good. Make another movie. Keep it educational. There are other WDW venues for cartoon. Maybe Disney should consider a "Manhattan Project" to rescue Epcot.
