Epcot - Must Do/See ?

I think the previous posts have covered it all, but don't skip the movie in Norway if you've never seen it. It's less than 10 minutes long and it is one of the better movies in the WS. The movie at Canada is (while dated) pretty neat too.

And don't miss Off Kilter, The British Invasion and Mo'Roccan.

World Showcase, Listen to the Land, Spaceship Earth, Living Seas, Journey Into Imagination. This is just a few, but I don't think you can go wrong with that much at EPCOT.

Epcot is our favorite park, and the must sees for me are:
1. Mission Space- trip record 24 times
2. Test Track
3. Soarin- will be 1st time in December!
4. The Maelstrom in Norway
5. Honey I shrunk the audience- awesome show even with the snake thing!
6. Eat at San Angel Inn in Mexico
7. Illuminations
8. Catch street performer in Italy
9. Charectors on Holiday
10. Take a "trip" around the world.
you may be pleasently suprised like we were with epcot the first time. All the reviews I had read were mixed and friends told us to spend little time there or skip the park, but DF and I fell in love with Epcot and we usually go there every day of our trip. I am not really a "exhibit" type of person, but I love world showcase, b/c of the eateries, cute little shops, and world cultures you encounter as you walk around.

OK kind of a dumb question, Epcot doesn't have a parade, does it? I'm not a huge fan of parades, but everyone else in my family would probably want to see it, if there was one.

I'm not personally a big fan of fireworks (They make me nervous! ), but Illuminations is pretty cool.
Just watch out for falling embers!

Out Door pavillion in Mexico. You have to get there about 1 1/2 to 2 hours before and get a table along the water. We do it every year its an amazing view! We usually grab some food and drinks and just sit.

No, Epcot does not have a parade at this time.

I think there are plenty of great spots around the WS lagoon to watch Illuminations. I refuse to line up 2 hours beforehand to get a spot, and usually manage to see the show just fine.

However, for a real treat, try to dine outside at R&C in the UK and time it so you see Illuminations from there. Very cool.

Since my 2 dd's aren't into the thrill rides, we love world showcase. We like more of the live entertainment, and at each country there are always shows, performers, bands, ect that are out entertaining. My dd's favorite is the lady in Japan who makes the candy lollipops in all animal shapes - we were lucky enough to get one last year, it's really fun to watch. We like to just walk around and sightsee.

My DD and I have fun trying to find characters. They seem to hide out in the different countries. There locations are on the map of Epcot and the times they will be there. My favorite location is in Morocco. You can find Jasmine, Aladin, and the Genie inside.

I noticed you're going during F&W Festival. Be sure to spend a bunch of money at the food booths on some great grub. Don't pass on the Australian lamb chop.

Catch a great concert at American pavillion. If someone can occupy DS - go to a wine tasting and a cooking demo.

there is a really pretty room ( not sure what it is inside a woodedn door) in Morroco i had never seen before ..also the little model train village by Germany( i think, it's on the side by the countries not by the lake insdie a little iron railed area but youcan walk through it, there is a little viewing path. we love the french movie ( please they have seats, a rarity in ws. beautiful scenery and beautiful music

My DD"s love Epcot. That's usually the first park we visit every trip! They really look forward to seeing the " Candy Lady" . She sets up a small cart in front of the Store that is in Japan. She makes animal lollypops that are amazing . She is on the schedule Her name starts with an M.I really don't remember the spelling.

DO NOT miss "Illuminations" which is their fireworks show over the lake. It's amazing!

Besides that, my must-sees are Test Track, The Biergarten buffet in Germany (where every day is Oktoberfest), and the living statue show, which I think is in front of Italy.

The Jammitors are great and are a must see performance at EPCOT for me. These guys are really good and can be seen near Mission Space during certain times of the day.

Some other must do's are O'Canada & the American Adventure shows, as well as most of Future World. Illuminations is another must see.

-Circle Of Life movie
-Any of the World Showcase Films: France, Italy and Canada
-Universe Of Energy is fun the first time you experience it, but because of it's length (40 mins. total), i usually skip it.

I am wondering the same thing. I am going w/ my boyfriend (we are both 27) and it is hard to tell from the guidebooks what we really should see at Epcot. I know Test Track......but other than that, do we just walt through all the various countries? We aren't big on exhibits...

My sister on her honeymoon this past May did "drinking around the world" with her husband. They said they had such a great time. They sampled a beer, or liquor (they particularly like the Margaritas in Mexico, the Kier Royals in France and the beer in England) in each country starting in Mexico. While they drank their drinks it gave them a great chance to explore each country. By the time they got to England Illuminations was about to begin. They went into a pub and got a terrific seat for the show and enjoyed their last drink together from the "world"-a giant beer.
