AAAAAAhhhhhhhh this morning at 6 am I discovered my FAVORITE thing at WL
NOONE is up at 6am!
I snuck out of our room with mug in hand - went to Roaring Forks made my choco-coffee combo and snuck out to the Hot Tubs! WOW - was it nice to have such peace and quite - looking at the stars and the beautifully lit waterfall! THe Lodge looked GORGEOUS!DEFINATELY WORTH WAKING UP FOR!
20 minutes later I decided to take a quick dip in the EMPTY pool and sit beneath the area where the river flows into the pool and feel the cool water!
Very Cool!
Up to the room now where everone is waking up!
Get everybody ready and out the door! A quick breakfast at RF and then the boat to the Contemporary to the monorail to TTC to Epcot!
Unfortunately I didn't take notes so I am going on memory here (now I realize I am getting old because my memory is shot! )
We played in Innoventions for a while - sent a vidoe e-mail , Beat my DD's butt at a few games and lewt her win a few - DH walked around with DS looking at robots etc. Lines were a little long for some games though
Out of Innoventions and wandering on we got pocorn in a cute bucket from a vendor and sat at a bench with DS squalking at the birds (his favorite part of this trip was the birds everywhere
THen off to check out UNiverse of Energy, and Wonders of Life. HATED BODY WARS! actaully the kids LOVED It. THe adults did not! The visual material was just disgusting!
While in Wonders of Life the kids rode the 'bikes', I sent my first purchase to WL
Got SIL A long sleeve traditions Basketball T. , and had a quick lunch.
Long Wait at Test Track - hmmm Fast Pass -
NOw we wandered up to HOney I Shrunk The Audience! VERY FUNNY! DS didn't care for the snake - and he didn't even have the glasses on! LOL
Over to Imaginations we go! gotta love FIGMENT!
MY FAVORITE SOUVENIER OF OUR TRIP!
My DH HATES my photo habits (I can't get enough) so he rolled his eyes when I wanted to have a picture made in the store exiting Imagaination-
UNTIL I showed him the Monster Inc. Poster! WHOOWHOO lets get in Line - after a 5 minute wait we were talking pics! First DD who they imposed into the picture being held by her foot upside down by SULLY! Then DH - Laying under SUlly (SQUISH!), then DH and I walk into the room OHHH LOOK SUPRISED!
We had our Poster sent to WL! Can't wait to see the finished product!
Kids loved the water - fountains! DH bought DS Buzz spinner ($12)
Mickey Ice creams too!!!!
I decided DS needs a drink - hhmmm where do I find milk or juice??? not to be found! AUGH! Got him a big Popsicle - that'll work
Back to Test Track! YIPPPEEE LOVED that ride! Got to go 2X because of Baby Swap (Who napped the whole time in his stroller).
Checked out Living Seas, the Land then walked through World Showcase! DH and DF got beers, girls traded pins, got Crepes in France and the kids dinner at American Adventure fast food.
I got a very yummy Margarita for $7.50 (not bad compared to the beer prices!) and down to Mother Earth we go!
We walked on mo wait!
The kids were tired so we weren't going to make it til Illuminations! But we had a great day and headed back to WL!
The Monorail - the Boat and we are HOME!
DH brought girls down for a swim while I put DS to bed early -
Up he came with snacks and everyone was to bed by 9!
