Epcot May 5th Hours?

Anybody know what's up with the Epcot hours on May 5th? Both FW and WS close at 3 PM, with no explanation on the hours site.

This is a press event for the openning of Soarin. i am really surprise that this seems to be the only early closing considering all of the special events happening.

Just a big Heads-up!!! May 5th is the opening of the big 50th anniversary happiest celebration on earth. Epcot is probably closed for special VIP/Press events... All the big goings on will be at MK on the 5th!

Thanks, my sister and her family are going that week, Monday to Friday.
They just randomly picked that week months ago.

Actually not everything is happending at MK. On May 4th there will be a grand openning of the stunt show at MGM. On May 5th the grand openning of Cinderbration at MK and the grand openning of Soarin at EPCOT. On May 6th the grand openning of Lucky the Dinosaur at AK. So lots happening at all of the parks.

It should be a fun week to be at the parks. It's nice that they limited the reduced hours to 1 park.
