What a perfect time to go. The weather was great. A little overcast, breezy, and in the 80's. Not crowded at all. This was my DF's first visit so we took a very leisurely pace so she could take it all in. We are big on gardening so the Flower and Garden show was part of our reason for going at this time and we were not disappointed. Disney does do magic with plants.
The longest wait was 20 min for TT. What a fun ride! We missed a lot but saw and did a lot. I was a little disappointed in the changes to Spaceship Earth. What happened to that little thrilling blast off you used to get? It was pretty bumpy and jerky too.
We watched the acrobats in China, Off Kilter, and Dave Mason. All were great. We hopped right on all the other rides. Skipped MS this time. I'm not ready yet. Experienced illuminations from a little spot just before and below the bridge, near the rose and crown. Great view.
My friend loved the Showcase and we spent a lot of time there the first day. Spent more time in Future World the second day.
We found some hidden Mickey's and bought Mickey ear anklets.
There were many little magical moments. There was this little boy, close to 5 years I would guess, that parked himself on a wall, crossed his arms and stood there like the statues. He was so cute. He would not move. I gave him a little wave and he ever so slightly just raised one finger off his arm in reponse and gave me a little grin.
I have been telling my friend for years that, "No one does it better than Disney." She believes now!
