Epcot International Gateway - early entry?

I'm staying at the YC next week and plan on scootering (broken foot, not quite healed but otherwise fine) to the International Gateway entrance to get into Epcot. Will I be able to get in at the regular opening time even if the World Showcase part of Epcot isn't open yet? What if the front entrance lets them in earlier, like they sometimes do. Will I be able to get in at that time too? Thanks for your help!

We were there in March and yes they did open the same time as the main entrance. On the day we were there, they had the area to the right (going around world
showcase roped off and we went to the left to get to future world.

Having stayed at the YC & BWI/BWV dozens of times, I can tell you 'for sure' that you can enter Epcot via International Gateway at the same time the front gate opens - the only difference is that you will be "roped" into Future World, and WS is closed. It's actually quite nice to see England/Canada so empty of guests. You should have no problems getting to FW.
