Epcot International Festival of the Arts- UPDATED Times Guide on Post 61

Yes in the "fine print" @beesly posted it says all attendees must have a valid AP and to get your show pass you have to go the day of and present the AP and photo ID to get it.

Ok like I said driving. We knew to watch for email and just wanted to book ASAP and read nothing.

I believe it's only going out to some passholders, not everyone, since it seems like it's a test at this point. I have a friend who is a FL AP and she did not get the email. The very bottom of my email says that it is "A commercial advertisement or promotion sent to:" my specific email address.

Hmm... BF and I are Florida AP's as well. Maybe that's it?

Interesting. Nothing ever asks me to sign in.
Guess I won't sweat it. DH would hate going anyway, though he'd go and be a trooper

Received email this morning and registered for 2/12/17. We also have onsite ressies during that timeframe so maybe that triggered us in getting the invite.

Look at me...hit the big 500 on this post :yay:

I clicked the link in my email (on my phone) and it took me right to my MDE log in page. Once I logged in, it took me to a page that told me my approximate wait time was 5 minutes and not to refresh or leave the page as I would lose my place in the line. I waited maybe a minute and it auto refreshed to a page that had me choose who from the AP holders on my friends and family list I would also be registering to join me, then had me choose a date, and then one of the two show times on that date. The third show time is the one associated with the dining package, so no AP seating for that one I'm guessing. Once a date and time are confirmed, you're locked in, and can't make any modifications. You can only pick one show for the entire run of the festival, which also makes me think it's not geared toward FL AP's right now. On the day of the show, we have to stop by Innoventions and pick up our admission badges (with proof of ID and AP) and then arrive to the theatre no less than 15 minutes before show time.

I'm a passholder and did NOT get that email. Anyone else?

I didn't get the email, but my husband did. I'm glad that I happened to see this thread, or I wouldn't have known and he probably wouldn't have opened the email. He booked the first show this Friday for us.

We are FL AP and I got the email.

Given that takes you direct to the sign up, and from the looks of it ....
.... I believe the error here is that Disney neglected to code the email so that the link couldn't be shared.

That is just not a page that Disney would design to be a shared page.

SO now that websites are sharing it, future email receivers may find themselves locked out.

Well, it looked like it was working but I never had people show up as guests to add/remove. Oh well!

Here's the menus that were posted. Only two kiosk didn't have the menus up yet

I received an email for BOTH DVC and for AP for seating at the concerts. I only used the link for DVC since I saw that one first!

This was my thought, too. I really didn't think it was something that Disney intended to be shared like this.

I'm glad we were able to register
before the offer was full. I'm hoping that signing up was enough to guarantee our spots, as we have breakfast at MK that morning and are going to EPCOT right after, but won't be there at 9, and while the first thing I plan to do is go to Innoventions to get our badges, I'd hate to miss out on them because I wasn't there to check in right at 9am. The email said tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis - but does "tickets" mean the physical badges or just the online registration spots?

Someone commented on The Dis's Facebook post and said the offer also went out to DVC members.

Well I am DVC and passholder and like usual did not get either email. My husband did receive the passholder one so he sent me the link. I did it from my phone. It said I would get an email confirmation but I did not. I did screen shot the confirmation. I tried from my laptop and I can not get it to go through.
