EPCOT hours week after Christmas?

We're going to EPCOT on Dec. 29 and when I checked the hours on the Disney site, the calendar said it opens at 8am, but when I clicked on the day it said park opening is 9am. It seems that way for every day that week (except days with EMH). Anyone know if we should be there at 8 or 9am?

Just use a more reliable calendar like the ones found at the links below.
(The "official" WDW calendars have been a cesspool of inaccuracies and mistakes for a long long, time. SHAME.)

(BTW, 8AM is the correct regular Epcot, DHS, DAK and MK opening time for Dec. 29,
PLUS a 7AM EMH opening at MK and DAK for WDW Resort guests.)

My daughter works at Epcot and she says they are opening at 8 that week and that is how it is listed for her at work. Hope that helps.

Even on that calendar it says EPCOT hours are 8-9:30 but then right under it, it says Future World opens at 9. So do the rides open at 8am- or will we be wandering around or held back from the rides until 9am?

If Epcot opens at 8AM, the FW attractions open at 8AM.

Yes, the internal calendar shows FW opening at 8:00. Although it's possible the less popular attractions, like Imagination & Innoventions, could open later.

It's interesting that Epcot & FW are open until 10:30 p.m. on the 29th & 30th. I can't remember ever seeing Epcot open later than 9:30, except on New Year's Eve.

Well that's new! We're going on the 29th and that's the first I've seen of EPCOT being open until 10:30pm. Don't think we'll make it that long without an afternoon break- and I'm too afraid to leave in case the park reaches capacity.

Yes, not sure about every ride but Soarin' will be. My daughter is in at 6:45 most of that week.
