I was wondering that too. Is there any entertainment involved - or is it just dinner? For the price it seems that it would be some kind of dinner show - anyone know?

This event has been done in previous years, but always with slight variations. It is always an all you can eat buffet and price includes non-alcoholic drinks, food, tax and tip. There is always live entertainment of some form. The most recent event had a live "big band" style band and a dance floor. In previous years there have been DJs and other live events. We have gone to this event several times and LOVED it! It's especially good that it is all indoors. Should it rain, after dinner you can stay inside and dance and then step just outside for the fireworks. I HIGHLY recomend it!

Can you see the fireworks from nearby? Is it something that we should schedule for later during the night, closer to the time of the fireworks? Right now, we have reservations for 6:45 and I'm wondering if we should push that back because I don't think it would last all the way til 12 for the fireworks... Also, is park attire ok or is it more dressed up? THANKS!

If it is between Canada and the UK, I would think you could just walk out and watch Illuminations. (Consider it will be shoulder to shoulder people wanting to do the same. However you should be able to view them.
I am guessing this is in what was the Millennium Village. They hold lots of special tickets parties there. (Some we have attended.)
A few NYE ago we were at Epcot and they had a walk up (no ADR) buffet there.

You can not see the fireworks FROM the event (in World Showplace, which was previously called Millenium Village), but you can walk outside and get a good, though perhaps slightly obstructed view. You can attend in casual park clothes, however we chose to dress up. You'll see a wide range of styles from casual to formal.
