EPCOT... Fun

Pressed Penny in each country. Only potential hurdle is there are no machines in China, and I think Japan too. You can get their pennies in the shops at the World Showcase Plaza area though.

We went in December of last year and my daughter ended up missing a class field trip to a museum where the students were going to learn about different cultures around the world. To make up the assignment, her teacher asked her to go to Epcot and talk to 5 different cast members about something they do to celebrate the holiday season. It was so much fun to see their faces light up as they talked about the traditions that they hold so dear, whether they were talking about personal family celebrations or festivals that are held in their community. It got me thinking about how that could be fun at any time of year. You could ask them to say something special they do to celebrate birthdays or the new year. I'd make sure to pick something like a birthday or new years just because those are things that we all seem to celebrate.

We went 1 step further with the pressed pennies. We got the Duffy one from each location. No idea if they are still doing them but it was easy to find a theme for the pennies.

We always talk to the CM at the KidCot stations too. I always have DGD color a Duffy (or whatever they are using now) a little in each spot and we ask the CM around about how they are enjoying their time here.
You can even make your own passport. There are blanks here on The Dis that the Disigners did that have a place to right in a message. Don't know if you've ever scrolled down to that board, they do some great work.

Epcot.... EPCOT left the building decades ago.

Anyway, getting liquored up is the best part.. plus the grub during F&W.

Okay - this one is kind of lame - but we had fun recreating pics from trips long ago. Not the same outfits or anything. Just the same people in the same poses at the same spots.

Also - the caramel store in Germany is the only reason that a place the size of EPCOT needs to have to justify its entire existence.
