Epcot FP+ Watch Thread: Soarin' & Frozen Ride

I am making FP+ reservations for our June trip this week. I want FP+ for the Frozen ride and the new Soarin' movie, but obviously those aren't available yet. Hence this thread. If you hear/see of anything announcing FP+ availability for Frozen or Soarin', please post here!

And anyone else who is playing the waiting game with me, please feel free to commiserate!

After years of seeing how these things actually work...

The info will show up in at least half-dozen posts, within minutes of the info becoming known.
They will show up on the Theme Parks board as well as many in this one.
These things travel like lightning.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of! If it travels like lightning, everyone will be on it before I hear about it! But if news is posted in one place, IO am more likely to see it when everyone else does. Star Wars Fireworks and ROL both have their own watch threads, so I figured the new Epcot attractions deserved them as well!

Bloggers are reporting FPs for Soarin' will be available beginning tomorrow (12:00 tonight). Soarin' is scheduled to open June 17th at Epcot and DCA.

So I have to stay up until midnight on a weeknight again (our trip is June 12-21). ugh

I'm super excited to ride the new Soarin, we actually leave for home that night and planned FP's at EP that day in case this happened. Any thoughts on how to try to get these tonight? Should I go into our existing Test Track FP and change it, should I cancel it ahead of time? Any thoughts? Since this is our only chance to ride I'm really hoping to get a FP.

Canceling ahead of time will speed up the booking process. If you keep TT, then you'll have to go through Warning prompts before viewing and booking Soarin'.

The timing on this is perfect! Our regular FP+ window opens tonight (we arrive June 20) so I was planning to be up at that time to make FP reservations anyway. Looks like Soarin' will have to be my first priority!

Now it's only the Frozen FPs I'll have to stalk...

Frozen was rumored to open May 28, since that's the first day the Elsa & Anna M&G won't be available in MK. But then this announcement says June. I'm hoping for early June.

I think it's possible. All they have said is that the new movie will debut June 17. They could reopen it beforehand with the original film.

Thanks I will have to do this too. I think I'll just cancel the whole day so there are no conflicts. Unfortunately I'm limited to just the morning of 6/17 because ME takes us away around 1:30.

That's a great idea to Cancel all FPs. Then, all availability will be open for you!
