Epcot FP+ tiers gone...for now.

For now it appears there is a way to get TT and Soarin' fastpasses on the same day. I already had reservations for late March for Soarin', Mission Space and Turtle Talk. I was able to go to MDE and change MS to TT while keeping Soarin'. I was also able to change FP+ reservations at HS so that I had Toy Story, ToT and Rockin Rollercoaster all on the same day.

Currently, you are unable to make initial reservations for 2 tier one rides at Epcot, but you can change existing reservations. Will this last long or is it a glitch? Who knows, but for now, I'm happy to have FP+ reservations for TT and Soarin' on the same day!

It works at DHS as well. FYI.

Same way though. You have to select within the tiers initially, then you can change them.

God dang it, why couldn't someone figure this out in 19 days !?!?!? Its probably going to be fixed before I can book

You couldn't do this before- it is a change in the system- meaning it is intentional or a really big sudden glitch. I wouldn't be surprised if you're able to do this in 19 days.

Not only for epcot but also for hollywood studios (got the big three)

I agree. BUT, why if it's intended, can you not make the selections from the get go?

Who knows why Disney IT does anything? Maybe it's an oversite, maybe a glitch or maybe it's an attempt to steer traffic to the less popular attractions?

I can't do it I try to switch start tour for TSM and it doesn't give me that option.

What day are you trying for? There's always a chance that day might not have a FPP for the time you are trying to change it to. Try moving Star Tours to another time slot and switching to TSM.

Woah baby I'm glad I saw this thread just booked my TT FP with my Soarin FP Now I don't have to RD Epcot!! Even though I probably still will!

I don't think so only because before now, you couldn't do this. I had tried to do this a few times just to see if it was possible, and was unable to. It will be very interesting to see if this is just a glitch that will be fixed, or if Disney has decided after testing a while that tiers will go away...

Probably the same reason that they never advertised that you could use fastpasses (regular ones) past your time as long as it was the same day (before a cpl. yrs. ago). They prefer ppl. not do it, but also recognize that it's a big deal to some.

I just did a practice run of this using my AP and sure enough, it works! TT and Soarin' within an hour of each other.

Thank you OP for the information! I was able to switch a tier two FP+ for Soarin' even though I already had a TT FP+. Yay!
