Is it worth the time (how much) to take our 3 3/4 and 15 month old to epcot? We will be at WL 6 nights with hopper passes? I think Illuminations will be too loud from what I have read. Thanks :flower1:

We took our 15 month old and 3 year old to Epcot two years ago and had a great time. It is a different experience than MK -- much more relaxing. there are not too many rides they can do at that age, but in Future World they liked Living with the Land, Living Seas, and Spaecship Earth. On the way to World Showcase there are fountains they played in for hours. then in WS they liked the boat ride in Mexico. DS3 liked the boat ride in Norway. They both enjoyed the amtosphere of WS, just seeing the street performers, bands in the American pavilion, eating cool snacks. We ate in Morocco, Mexico, Noway -- they loved all of them, especially the belly dancers in Morocco. Also our best character experience was in World Showcase. In England, pooh and his friends hang out in the store there. One morning, Pooh, Piglet, Eyeore and Tigger were ALL there and the place was empty. My boys were totally overjoyed and spent several minutes just clowning around with them. They can also do crafts at kidcot stations in each pavilion. We love it!

Don't miss Epcot just because you have young ones. Sure MK is the BEST for the under 5 crowd, but there is something at each park, and more importantly, don't miss Epcot!

Kids need some down time anyway and Epcot is always a more relaxing, sit back and take it all in place. We will be there next month with (2) almost 4 year olds, and (2) babies (6 and 7 months old,) along with my 13 year old niece. Last year we went with the same group (but no babies, just pregnant ladies) and we all agreed we didn't spend enough time at Epcot.

I just asked DD if she liked Epcot, she said "yes" and then "well of course Mom". She hasn't been in over 13 months, but it leaves an impression.

My sugestion is don't save it for the end of the trip, hit it in the 1st 4 days and then make time to go back if you didn't get to do enough.

I agree with Mainebound about all there is to do. Infact babies tend to like Epcot alot since there is so much to look at and see.

DD always ended up falling asleep for Illuminations, but her friend liked it. You can get a seat a little father away and it isn't too nosiey.

But sure let them play some in the ship at Norway.

illuminations is not any louder than wishes and it is a must see. your little ones will be very comfortable in a stroller watching the show. :flower:

My DS(3 3/4 at time)'s favorite ride of our last trip was Test Track. My DD(21 months at the time) is a late talker. She had 2 new words at Disney. Moon-it was full when we were at Disney and WOW-she LOVED the fountains at Epcot. My DD(5) and I had a great afternoon doing the masks at the Kidcot stations while DS & baby went back to the resort for a nap. I would have to say we didn't spend enough time there. As for the fireworks-I was there when oldest was 3 1/2 and we were in a store when Illuminations started. She wanted to step outside to see them but then totally freaked out. BUT...on the last trip when DS was nearly the same age he was fine with the fireworks as was my DD who was now 5 and baby slept through it.
