I know there will be plenty for the kids to do in epcot, but do you think a whole day in epcot is too long? We have adr's at San Angel Inn at 7:15. I'm just wondering if this will be too long of a day to expect them to sit for a meal that has to be ordered compared to a character meal. I'm second guessing myself, that maybe we should try to make an adr somewhere else earlier. What do you think? Is epcot too much for this one day? TIA.

I don't think one day in Epcot is too long. We spend as much time, if not more, at Epcot as we do at MK, and we try to do multiple evenings there. There is a lot to do, and if you are worried about your kids getting tired, you can always leave in the afternoon and come back later.

My dd4 is not a big fan of Epcot. She likes the "big golf ball", but she likes to ride and watch shows with characters she knows from her movies. Not a lot of that at Epcot. It's a lot of walking (wheeling, if you have a stroller) too.

It depends on your children's interests. I personally think that they'll have fun, but being young they made need an afternoon nap. I also say that if your little guys are tired, leave for a while so the kids can take a nap before heading out for more adventure. Have fun!

I think a full day at any park is too much. When my kids were 3 1/2 we took them to a park in the morning and then back to the hotel for a nap in the afternoon. Give them a little snack and go to Epcot later. Go around the countries and have dinner in Mexico. They did like visiting each country so that they could make their and add things to their masks.

Last year we went to Epcot with my two and one year olds. They enjoyed the morning there. Here are the things they liked: Turtle Talk with Crush (I think that's what it's called), meeting Mary Poppins, seeing Pooh and Tigger at the toy store (Pooh and Tigger were rolling around on the floor playing with the kids. Very sweet encounter), the character connection (this was THE BEST!), and my two - almost three year old was mildly entertained by the masks for a short while.

We ended up going "home" for a nap in the middle of our Epcot day and coming back for dinner at Biergarten which they absolutely loved! I couldn't pull them off the dance floor and this was one of the unexpected highlights of our entire trip! They were quite mesmerized by the lights and hustle bustle of the pavilions at night so I would say, they enjoyed our night at Epcot more than our morning.

All in all, we couldn't have done Epcot for the entire day. Your kids are a little older so the masks could be more interesting to them.

Have a great time!
Lesley

I would take a break.

How do they do in a dim setting becasue San Angel is dim. My dh & I were not impressed with the food in there so we eat at the Cantina outside Mexico.

I would take it easy in the morning, and go to Epcot later. Maybe let them sleep in so they won't get as tired early. Ride the Golf Ball, do the fish tank and wander through Innoventions (my 9 yr old wasn't as enthused with it as some of the younger kids there were). Then wander over to WS and do the passport/Kidcot stations, ending up in Mexico.

We are a family who takes the afternoon resort breaks, it works best to do it that way so we don't have a tired breakdown in the evening. When we head back to dinner, we are all fresh and full of energy.
Our DS(2)' favorite part of Epcot was the play fountain area. We always have to bring extra clothes and let him play away at the end of our visit. We use it as a sort of bribe for good behavior until we leave!
Our DS loves turtle talk, and the golf ball ride (name?) and he likes the countries because of the entertainment in each country. We really enjoyed the Chinese acrobats, the Morrocan band, and the Japanese drums. And of course, Illuminations!
There is so much to see. Epcot is a kind of "hanging out" sort of attitude for our family. We just relax and wander.
Enjoy!

My daughter liked it just fine when she was 3 and 4.
You've got the Princess storybbok dining in Norway as well as the Norway ride.
She also liked "Honey I shrunk the Kids" and Journey into your imagination with Figment.
She loved Soarin in December and loves the Living Seas as well.
One thing she would have liked to have spent more time in is Innoventons, she loves the computer and had a blast what little time we were in there.
Illuminations at night is one of the highlights of the trip. There's plenty to do at Epcot and I highly reccommend the experience.
