So this year for my birthday DW is taking me to Epcot and it just so happens it will be the final weekend for the F & W festival and just curious how does it work?

I see there are like double the food choices as far as countries go but are there food trucks? Do they have pavillions set up? IS there a seperate charge for meals?

Sorry for the lack of knowledge as we have never attended this event and are super excited :woohoo::cloud9::cheer2:

There are no food trucks, instead little booths set up all over the world showcase. Each booth sells 2-3 food items in small portions for $4-$8 on average and also several alcoholic beverages at each booth as well.

Here is a handy (albeit long) guide to the offerings with photos.

We went a couple weeks ago and it was a blast. I will tell you, try to go on a weekday. We went on a Sat and the lines for each food station was about 15-20 people deep so we bypassed them and just toured the regular pavilions. We went back on Tue and it was only about 2-3 people deep.

Also, you might want to plan out the dishes that are your "must haves." It's basically impossible to make it all the way around WS in one trip. Last year DH and I went half way around for brunch/lunch, and then came back another day and did the other half for dinner. We still only went to about every other booth because it was just too much food!

Hope you have fun!

This has also been mentioned in many other threads, but in general, lines are also usually much shorter earlier in the day than around dinner time. Last year we went at 5:00, and between the lines and the crowds (not to mention it kept threatening rain), it was tough to try more than a few booths. This year we started at 11 (and like PP said, with our main targets noted in our map LOL) and managed much better. And if you reeeeeally like something, go ahead and get another! I never made it back for a second sweet corn cheesecake from Argentina :(. Time flies when you're having fun and stuffing your face!!!!

The final weekend of food and wine is the weekend that disney holds their wine and dine half marathon and other races. These races are sold out, so expect the parks to be more crowded
