Epcot Food & Wine Festival info?

I'm looking for information/trip reports/etc. on the Epcot Food & Wine Festival. My husband and I are hoping to go this year and I'd love to read more about it! Thanks!

I have been to the Fest every year for the past 9 years. It is my favorite event at Disneyworld. I love that we can sample our way through the World Showcase. Lots of good food, lots of good wine and lots of good events ( both free and charged for )

There will be a sticky thread for 2010 festival info on the Restaurant board closer to October 1 - probably in June sometime because the events usually get released in July/August. it's too early to start a sticky thread now.

My boyfriend and I go to the Food and Wine festival every year. We have no kids so we do the grown up rides then about noon start off towards Canada for a day of food and wine! We start towards Canada end up around Mexico and then head back. We go to Italy and Morocco a few times then watch the fireworks. We try to stay at the Boardwalk so we can just walk to the hotel.

My husband is in the wine and spirits business, so I'm really hoping he may be able to write-off an excursion to the festival with me! It will be around my birthday, so a long weekend would be perfect. I can't imagine anything better than celebrating throughout the World Showcase and experiencing all that international food and wine!

I've read somewhere, here, but now Ican't find it , that you can purchase a 100$ card for the F&W and eat at the kiosks all day! Where do you purchase this card and does it include wine and beer? Or just the appetizers? and can you buy one for kids?
I know a lot of questions, but any help would be appreciated!

I've been to the F&W Fest several years and never saw anything like that ... so I think it's just rumor.

They do have small re-loadable F&W themed gift cards with a little lanyard you can attach to a belt or bag. They are pretty nice to use at all the kiosks instead of fumbling with cash, but there are no special discounts associated with it. They sell them all over Epcot during the festival
