Epcot Food & Wine Festival Events Released

Thanks for the update, Patricia H! On to more planning...

Well, it's almost time to start booking :hyper:
I am in so much trouble...I want to book EVERYTHING :teeth:
I am stressing over which to try to book first in case some are gone by the time I ask! Any one else still trying to decide what to book and what they should try for first? Do you think 4 Food and Wine Pairings , Party for the Senses and a Signature Dinner is too much? The Lunch and Learn sounds like fun too.
So...what have you all decided...or are you still mulling it over :confused3

Katy - No way, that's not too much! I would love to be able to do that much, but we just don't have time. Hehe! Hmmm, as far as booking things the only definite advice I can give you is book Party for the Senses last, that won't sell out right away. In fact, I remember reading that on some Saturdays last year there were tickets available the day of. Last year, we didn't get ours the day of but we booked it in August, a good few weeks after tickets had been on sale.

For us we are doing Party for the Senses and the Trapper's Expedition Signature Dinner. :sunny:

Thanks Meg...I think that's what I want to hear...that it's not too many events ;) So I should book Party for the Senses last, good to know. Lucky you, you will be there for the Trapper's Expedition Dinner! That one really interested me too but it's not on during my my stay.

Katy - what specific signature dinner and food and wine pairings are you going to attend?

Hi Katy-

We are doing 1 Party for The Senses, 1 Lunch and Learn (Ming Tsai), 2 Food and Wine Parings (Sake, Sushi, and Sashimi and Coral Reef) and The Spirited Ball! I would love to do the Brilliant Bubbles Exquisite Evening too but we will be in California that week and it is $$$$$$$$$:) I would love to do the Jiko Flavors of Africa Signature Dinner as well but we will still be in CA.

The Exquisite Evenings/Signature Dinners tend to go first from what I have seen. I bet the Speciality Dinners will go fast this year as they are new!

Hi Meg and Pat,
I've decided on trying to book the Australian Signature Dinner @ Citrocos, Party for the Senses, and 4 food and wine pairings! I'm hoping for Sake, Sushi and Sashimi, Coral Reef, Le Cellier and Italy. The only Exquisite Evening I would be able to attend would be in Italy, and I'm not sure that's really what I want so think I'll pass on that. If I can't get something I may add a Lunch and Learn.

Good luck to everyone in the morning :wizard:
Make sure you post what you get tomorrow :flower:

I got everything except Le Cellier on the 21st and since I am going to MNSSHP on the 20th and Party of the Senses on the 22nd it's probably just as well.

So how did you all do?

Hi Katy! We did great. I called in a little after 0700 and the message that comes on said that there was "extremely high call volume" so I didn't think I'd actually get through before I got to work, but luckily I was only on hold about 10 minutes. We are doing the following:

Party for the Senses - 11/05
Trapper's Expedition Signature Dinner @ Le Cellier Steakhouse - 11/06

That's great Meg , I'm glad you got what you wanted too. I was only on hold for 5 min so that was way better than I expected...now it's off to work

I called at 7:05am as well. Waited about 10 minutes. We got The Spirited Ball on 10.30, Lunch and Learn on 10.14 and the Party For the Senses on 11.12. I figured I would space them out a bit. I will try back for the Food and Wine parings or try and book them myself. :jumping1:

So excited to see some more country booths too...I would love to get a chance to do some of the special events, but my DS4 isn't really up for it. Hope all of you that sign up have a great time. I shall be hanging around the Singapore booth with my Tiger beer (hopefully!) Then on to Spain, Turkey, Chile and Puerto Rico!!

Woo hoo! Party for the Senses 11/5! DH and I will be celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary that weekend so this will be a nice surprise for him!
:bounce:

www.allearsnet.com has a great rundown of the dates too... I called trying to figure out if I can do one of the dinners... just doesnt seem like there is enough time in one week!! :flower:

Hi,

I read in earlier responses that the Sweet Sunday was not that great? Can someone elaborate? My family and I booked it earlier today for 10/2 and would love opinions. We thought it sounded good but if its not worth the money, we'd like to cancel. Any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. We are also doing the Party of the Senses on 10/1. Will anyone else be there?

WooHoo! We are doing party for the senses on 10/15. We've never been to any of the special events, so this is a first for us!

I got everything I wanted! I went a little nuts. LOL

10/16 - Signature Dinner at Citrico's (Australian)
10/17 - (kept open on purpose)
10/18 - (kept open on purpose)
10/19 - Coral Reef pairing
10/20 - Cooking School (woo hoo! sounds fun!)
10/21 - EEE - a taste of Italy
10/22 - Lunch and Learn AND Party for the Senses

I can't believe I was able to get it all. :goodvibes
My grazing around WS would probably be Monday and/or Tuesday, when
the crowds are lighter. The lines on weekends are pretty long.

I am so excited we are going to Party for the Senses on 11/12. It will be our first time at F&W and we are really looking forward to it. For all of the expert do they generally post the menus in advance?

Yippee! Glad everything worked out for you. Looks like I'll be dining with you on the 16th and 19th and the 22nd!!

Christine:

No, there are no advance menus for Party for the Senses. You do get a "brochure" that lists all the booths inside World Showplace, color-coded so you can find them easier.

Katy:

Wow, three events? Maybe I should wear my lime-green Virtual Magic Kingdom wristband to let you know who I am. :) Some locals I know might be going to a couple of the same events. :)
